The annual AP Statistics Poster Competition is hosted by Chapman University in cooperation with the American Statistics Association. They gather all highs school students in SoCal to present their research using the stats skills they have learned from their AP statistics class. The competition is not only helping students to experience being on a "hot seat" in front of the college math professors but this is also a perfect way to practice on hypothesis testing for the ap stats test they will be taking a few weeks after.
48 teams from 6 different high schools in Southern California competed for the grand prize . 5 groups of judges mill around the Crean building and asked questions about their experiment and the statistical method they used that lead them to reject (or not reject) their null hypothesis.

I come across your story at REEL TIME. I'm an Audiologist / Speech-Language Path. working at a school district in Bakersfield CA, which basically has as simple lifestyle as Barstow CA. I love mathematics during my college days particularly Calculus and Analytic Geometry. Your story is quite interesting. Like you, I have invested my money in the Philippines for my retirement. @@numberbender I've seen in one of your videos that you quit your job at Barstow HS. I've work at LACOE before and the job is too demanding. Life is easier in the suburbs/rural areas. I will notg o back working in LA again. So Are you planning to transfer to LA?

Are you still teaching at Barstow? Why don’t you apply at Los Angeles? We have many California Distinguished Schools here. You seem very competitive, I’m sure you would want it. The location and learning atmosphere is way better.
Thank you, I really appreciate it. I am still teaching in Barstow and still enjoying my time teaching the students here. LA is a bit too much to handle for me at this time but who knows... if an opportunity comes that I can't say no to, I might be moving to LA in no time.

Hi Dr.E, nakita lang kita sa Reel Time and I look up to you. Naiintindihan ko yung situation mo kasi pareho tayong nagstart magwork abroad noong 2005. It was the same year when I started working in Japan. Naalala ko that time ang lungkot lungkot kasi hindi pa uso ang Skype, wala pang Facebook at Viber, the only way to reach my family was by making a Long Distance call. Sobrang nakaka-homesick. But I survived it just like you, and now I'm here in Philippines again to pursue the career of my dreams. God bless to you😊
