Sinking enemies ships with the chest of sorrow is such a good feeling. You have to place it in the back of the captains quarters where they cant see it. It only works with bigger ships so smaller ships, you just have to sink yourself.
If you ever get that chest of sorrow, in order to prevent your boat from collecting water put the chest on the nose of the ship so it won't leak water on your ship but out into the sea. I think you can put it on the sails too but I'm not sure
