    After TI3, I was sure I'll eventually stop watching TIs.
    TI4 - boring as shit. Worst TI ever, nothing will compete vs Alliance-Navi game 5.
    TI5 - famous $6mil. echo slam was just a nail in CDEC's coffin - dominating EG win. Pretty dull to watch.
    I slowly stopped playing. But kept watching majors.
    TI6 - super emotional EG-DC game in upper bracket, a promising pudge-techies start in grand finals and then - nothing. Dominating performance by Wings.
    I quit watching Majors as well.
    TI7 - I am so happy Kuro finally wins TI, but that is my only thought. Cannot remember anything else.
    I re-watch Alliance-Navi and stop watching DOTA at all - PUBG all over the place at the start of 2018, then Fortnite gets massive attention.
    Here comes August 2018.
    I start watching, thinking this will probably be the last TI I'll see - nothing competes TI3 in terms of emotions and hype.
    VP get eliminated.
    Liquid get eliminated.
    VGJ:T get eliminated.
    There're no teams left I'd cheer for.
    Except for OG. N0tail - I remember your support Meepo. Ana - so glad to see you back. Topson - damn, you remind me of AdmiralBulldog - a resilient pub player who keeps playing his weird DOTA. Yeah OG are cool.
    But not that good in terms of skills.
    Not better than EG.
    Oh wait... what?
    Okay that was pure luck - luck that RTZ sucks dicks at TI.
    Ame is nothing like that.
    Goodbye OG.
    Oh wait... WHAT?
    WHAT?! JESUS!!! JERAX!!! Sorry Universe, you've lost the title of the most iconic Echo in Dota history!
    And then...
    ...this grand-finals.
    ...
    I've been playing dota1 since the days you could actually purchase Aegis in shop, it had 3 charges and rezed you at the fountain.
    I remember times when Void bashes would stack with Basher.
    I remember times Euls Scepter was a part of the Scythe recipe, and Diffusals were upgraded into Manta.
    And I have never
    EVER
    SEEN SUCH EPIC GAMES
    The game
    The drafts
    The emotions
    The comebacks
    The N0tail drama
    The Cinderella story of a 2-month roster rising Aegis in front of the cheering crowd.
    My god...
    I never woke my GF up from screaming at 5 a.m. in the morning just because I was watching dota.
    I never felt tears of happiness come to my eyes just because of a DOTA game.
    Valve... You sneaky bastards. You got me. TI is still a sight to behold. I was happy to witness this epic part of dota history. And I will be watching again next August.
    I love you OG

      @potassiumlanthanium5655 5 років тому +3

      If you consider TI6 as only as "a promising pudge-techies start in grand finals", then you really shouldn't watch competitive Dota, to begin with. Or if you are only searching for the emotional hype just ignore Dota all year long and you can tune in during the grand finals of Ti each year.

    • @xtrash1ove
      @xtrash1ove 5 років тому +2

      @@potassiumlanthanium5655 yes I do. And yes, I already follow that logic :) I watch a lot of CS:GO instead because it's very unpredictable and entertaining, and I have no issues with admitting that as a viewer, my goal is to be entertained. If you're not tired watching same "meta" heroes all patch long, you would probably love Overwatch League games ;)

    • @adonayandeyohannes7129
      @adonayandeyohannes7129 5 років тому +1

      There is nothing wrong if you seek for entertainment as a viewer in the e sport computation. But if you consider watching meta heroes being played as predictable and not entertaining then why do you consider the match of EG as a highlight of ti6 from your subjective values. And again in Ti8 (qualifiers, GP and ME) the meta heroes were continously picked in huge preportion, yet you deem it as one of the best Tis ever.
      From your reply I can only assume that you are being hypocritical of what you value or either you are just clueless to most of the event of TI.

    • @xtrash1ove
      @xtrash1ove 5 років тому +1

      @@adonayandeyohannes7129 i do not consider "a match of EG" a highlight, but rather "a match of DC", it was their show entirely. And yes, meta heroes are... well, meta. But it's a huge difference between playing same heroes from the first group stage game to the grand finals (hello TI4-5), and mixing meta heroes with regular ones (fy's amazing Clockwork, Seb's Axe and Magnus).
      Anyway, since you already blamed me for being "clueless" in the very first comment - oh sweet sweet Dota community, a home for toxic morons from all around the globe, you never change :) - I don't think I should waste time explaining "what I value" in greater detail, should I?

    LGDs heroes are tanky. I checked how their hp got so low so fast. And the secret was Topson's Zeus. He was somehow ignored and laughed by using his Zeus in this game but i think he is one of the reason why they won game 5. And of course Ana Ember.

      True. No one noticed this and everybody kept on praising Ana's elusiveness. Imo, the team produce massive spell dmg shockwave, rubick's w and ult, Ana's sleight of fist and and then there's Topson with all out spell dmg. I think Topson's presence were lowered because of his deaths.

      That's because Jerax had stolen and used Ghostship. When Ghostship touches you, you get a buff that delays damage taken, and that delayed damage will not kill you (it will take you to 1 instead). Observe carefully and you'll see that he dropped to 1 HP two times. He also put Flame Guard on in the end, in order to absorb damage from the Arcane Curse. It seems very clutch at first, but he wasn't in danger of dying after they killed everyone.

Back when I was still watching others play the game, his humorous attitude and amazing skills caught my attention, he was even the one who inspired me to play Meepo, now, I am a proud 4k player with Meepo as my best hero thanks to him, watching him was worth the time learning. He may be not be the carry NoTail we all knew, he was still an amazing player. Too bad Fly was not there when he won, they've known each other for a long time. But please do not call Fly a traitor, please do not humiliate him from losing to NoTail as he has his own personal reasons for leaving OG. It was too obvious that they got into a fight which lead Fly to leave, I still do believe that NoTail and Fly would play together in tournaments again, even not in TI, as NoTail said, *Friendship counquers all.*

    Damm, they turned that shit around! The sinergy of this team is amazing. Magnus itens helping Ana survive, the topson mid, who lost to Kunkka but dealt so much magical damage lategame that the rest of the team could win TFs, Ana managing miracle survivals, Jerax pivking up the pace in the end with those fissures, fak! NoTail played out of his mind!

      Narancia Hi. I know this comunity (and gaming comunity as a whole) is pretty toxic, and Dota has a hard learning curve, so do you want mw to help you to get into Dota 2?

      @@ashh472 Yeah, no problem. I already have a smurf, but never really use it, and I can't add friends on that account neither. We could play againat bots on my main account, tho, and after a few matches go into pubs

    • @ashh472
      @ashh472 4 роки тому

      @@MrUwU-dj7js Bots? Isnt there any other modes like classic of something other than Rank? Also , does the game have global server? Cus I am from India and I already have had my fair share of problems due to playing cross server on Mobile mobas

    • @MrUwU-dj7js
      @MrUwU-dj7js 4 роки тому

      @@ashh472 Well, technically we could play a nornal, unranked game, but that's not a good idea, as we'll be ruinning others people experience (a newcomer and a veteran on the same team will mke a really unfair matchmacking). We could do that later on.
      And the game has local servers, you can play on an Indian server expecting almost zero lag. I'm from South America, so when playing together we should pick a neutral server, which will give us a little of lag (less than 200 ms).

    Did anyone notice at 43:25 Ame wouldn't have died if xNova use Global Silence and have a chance to SUNDER magnus or rubick and wont be behind in gold that clash.

    • @dirgeanddistorted8873

      Same thought, but they're focusing ana that clash after aegis revive they will use global silence even though ana has euls to dispel I think they're pressured like game 3 of ti 9 where mind control suggest that they will over commit on pugna.
