One thing about lubing with WD40, it is a temporary fix until the gas wipes it out. The pump more then likely is worn out and will lose its capability to pump soon. As big a hassle as it is to change out. $35 bucks for the pump & $15 for the filter is worth the expense and piece of mind.
Load breakers off before starting and shutting down always no exceptions. Does sound like it run really well. Should have a low oil cut off so one thing to think of if it stops for no reason.
Chico, happy sunday, I need some advice please. it's raining here in las vegas and I just assessed that I have water coming in from 2 windows (the one behind couch and the other is the windshield), it appears the calk (?) or trim around the tops of them is missing on the outside of coach in spots. What product do you recommend to stop the leak problem? and I have one more issue, the appears a leak near the fan on the ceiling in the middle of the kitchen. I can see the carpet up there getting wet. what should I do, I like to do these things myself. thanks!!!
The gaskets around the windows should be available from your dealer. As far as the vent goes you probably need to clean and reseal the vent. The proper sealer should als be available from your dealer.

I was recommended to use dicor products lap sealant self-leveling on the roof, which I'll have to get over there and i'll take a look at gaskets and lots of other stuff I may not know I need. again, thanks for your expertise!

If you are in a hurry Advance Auto Parts and AutoZone sell Mr. Gasket low pressure electric fuel pumps. They are identical mounting and everything. The #42S is like 2-3.5 psi which most Onan generators are or the 12S is like 4-7 psi. Just Google your part number with psi to find out exactly.
Hi R&D, great vids! and fab info. and nice rig! I have a '94 southwind that Fleetwood tells me is not wired for solar panels or an inverter, any bypasses or suggestions that you know of so I can be less generator-married, i'm not a commitment kinda gal lol thanks.
Hi Shelly. My rig is not wired for solar either. Most older rigs are not. T solar panel addition is a fairly simple job and will keep your batteries charged. Adding the inverter and making the connections to the AC side of the coach gets a little more complicated.

yeah Chico check with your nearest RV dealer get somebody's neutral not from nor cold you might try calling the 1-800 number for your cold but they told me mine wasn't under about a month later it caught fire there was a big recall on it so do your homework buddy let me know you come out that's all I can tell you right now the bset
I tell you what I did with mine if you don't like noise and it cuts the noise just a little bit but not the noise that you get from vibration I went and found me the smallest car muffler that I can find and I routed that in and it cut down noise a lot
Larger Class A's have 2 roof AC's. 2 AC's = 50 AMP you can buy dog leg (bone) adapters for 40 AMP clear down to 10... Don't totally trust those gauges above the stove. Most of them aren't very dependable... Maybe your buddy Larry should start a UA-cam channel "Ask Larry" I bet it would be a hit...
***** The guages do not work in most RVs especially the older ones, but after I take care of the more important problems I am going to see if I can resole the problem. Dicor is exactly what you need. There may be after market weather striping for the windows. Good luck at the casinos!

Wd40 worked on my fuel pump and is still going. I purchased a new one for a backup expecting a failure soon. So far so good. Thanks for the tip!

No but depending on the rv you own on witch battery it needs to start off of the front battery next to the motor or the main. Back battery
