there's a mission prior to this one, where you have to awaken the Druids of the Claw and free Illidan. You can fight a powerful NPC there that gives you a Necklace of Spell Immunity. Put that on Malfurion and he can basically heal through every wave of enemy forces without anything cancelling his Tranquility.
i missed this and have been trying to clear the mission while keeping jaina's base alive. its near impossible without this necklace
Strange, but in Night Elf's campaign Chimaeras won't be introduced to players, but in Orc campaign they was presented.

In normal mode, I defended as the game makers thought of it to be, loosing human base and most of orc base. Then time ran out and Archi raided the tree and died.
In hard more, I raided the undead main base by flying in Hippos from the North, killing aco's and necropolis and back out,
that made the UD-units stay in main base to defend, and the attackwaves got small against human base.
Took A LOT of time and tries though. :)
With 8 mins left on map, all bases are remaining, and in the main UD base, only Archimonde and a ziggurat remains.
All I gotta do now is wait for Clock to tick tock. :)

Remember the video, where some guy killed the 1st UD base with mines and then Archi with protectors, the craziest shit I've ever seen :D
I just done "WarCraft 3 Reign of chaos" last mission on hard, I thought this impossible! But the computer cheated in a strange way, now I had a near 90 (:max) army waiting the last minutes on the, as I maybe remember them, among other units twelve Infernals running into my base, and they never come! Only regular units that I defeated with great ease! As if the AI knew I was strong this time and therefore didn't send them (the 8-12 or so Infernals)! The mass Infernals on hard difficulty made me give up all hope of defeating hard before, but now I tried by saving a lot and careful planing! And the imba goblin mines ofcourse.
The last mission in the expansion "the frozen throne" was wayyy easier on hard, and the expansion should be harder, I made it first try! Stress sure, but way much more easy than this original game last mission! I made all other missions in the original game first try on hard too! Atleast I feel much better on soul and body this a bit depressing day by gaming this last mission on hard! Games sometimes do make me very happy!
@@SBDroid StarCraft 2 Wings of liberty is free now so maybe! I've watched them all on UA-cam, all SC2 games all campaigns, atleast one on brutal! Great fun to watch! I had Starcraft 1 home but was to to ugly and boring to play!

Took a while, but I got it to work. Had to upgrade the hippos to the max so i could kill the lich, necropolis, and acolytes.
SBDroid I believe its possible. The key being lots of units. Maybe some dryads to slow his attack, mines (he attacks the mines unless attacked by something else), protectors as well, and enough time on the clock. Being at the orc base would increase the amount of hits as well. Too bad divine armor reduces attacks to 1 dmg except chaos dmg.
@@SBDroid I heard that Wisps detonation is effective against Archimonde because game recognize him as a summoned units so it deals 225 damage ignoring his armor.
LoL, I realized that even in end cinematic it's shown that indeed Wisps defeated Archimonde :)

Holy shit, I'd hate to 1v1 you in an RTS game. I only did a portion of what you did, which was getting the Ancient Protectors to defend the human and orc bases. Twice. Didn't work. I also never knew that you could mount archers onto hippogryphs, that strategy is completely new to me. I just go full on out with my archers and huntresses on the ground, with a shitload of Wisps to construct the AP's. I must say, I fuckin' laughed out loud when I saw that the whole secret to delaying him was to overload the map with AP's and then sit back and relax while Furion healed the troops. Solid work, though! :D

I finished this mission on hard mode without abuse (like destroying undead base) it's quite hard and it takes a lot of energy. Still, I'm waiting for Warcraft 3 reforged official release.

There is a russian guy who killed archimonde in this mission, I've tried his strategy and successfully killed undead base within 5 minutes using mines. Killing archmonde is just too much work and too boring to make bunch of trees.

Yup. One difference in Hard is that Anetheron summons three Infernals instead of two with Rain of Chaos.
How come you don't use chimaeras instead?
In Frozen Throne, Furion explaines that he was not able to call the Chimaeras due to the quick invasion of the Undead. The Elf army basically composes of Tyranda and her sisters. Druids such as Talon, Claws or Chimaera are alliances since the previous war. They had to recall them. Some of them have been sleeping for thousands of year and even forgot themselves, like the Druid of Claws. @SBDroi: very nice play. I can't win the hard mode without some cheating on money.
Or Chimaeras are too OP. Imagine a horde of Chimaeras screw the Undead base in 4 minutes. And Night Elves got Chimaeras when they attacked Warsong Clan in Ashenvale.
Can someone make a video about this mission except, they edited the Orcs and Humans A.I. Like Insane computers on singleplayer

Okej, so the other UD bases unsummon I just saw when tried to play last mission with iseedeadpeople.
But the clickbait is still that the AI UD becomes docile, so this is an exploit (kinda cheat) not an skill thing.

This mission is impossible, maybe to reveal all the cheaters arrogance! You can't make it! Only with cheats!
24 NE towers on high ground in my NE base were crushed on normal difficulty, never replayed the mission after that! :-/

It's actually possible, take my word for it! Try using invulnerability potions with a hero and place goblin mines next to the undead's buildings and they'll be wiped out right then, afterwards get back with a scroll. Do it over and over again until you zap their whole base.
you can also kill archimonde with those mines
archi's divine armor means each mine deals 1 damage. He has 4k health and reincarnation. so are you planning on dropping 8 thousand mines at once?
