@Epic1 I'm happy as hell, I skipped about 2 years of self progression with the help of your tutorials. Your vids are extremely helpful no matter what anyone says, and seein a slight imperfection is great for self esteem too because it's good to see even a pro may have a minor slip up. Thatnks greatly for all your vids Epic
slow mos were perfect shows how all the body parts are supposed to react with a vault, especially the dash which many people have trouble getting down. Great vid!
@Epic1 i understand that but, it could get a little confusing to people to see you mess up and wonder if it was proper technique or not, but i do love your views of parkour in your videos, your much like Danny in your movements and philosophy.
@JSLSampaio when you speed vault, you land with the same leg you jump, so doing that switch in a controlled manner will act as a run up and will add/mantain more speed when you land, it also keeps your center of gravity lower so it becomes more efficient... it will only work if the technique is good tho, if you're just kicking to pose with it, it won't work :O :D
I have just started free running and I have to say I am slightly afraid to try most moves, but I am a fast runner and I have strong, powerful legs, so my question is- is there any moves that I would be good at? You have very useful tutorials by the way!
i am right footed and that means i kick with it. so i jump of my left leg mostly. right is for swinging. i notice u epic do most of stuff opposite way. i believe its better to find out naturaly that to decide which one is dominant.
Thanks epic ill try 2 keep this in mind......if it isnt to much to ask do you know any1 in the dc MD area who knows of any gyms besides primal fitness my team is in desperate need of a gym 2 practice in not so much of a classes because tho there somwat helpful the large groups arent very helpful tho. ummm other than that thanks 4 the videos and i hope 2 flip in ur foot steps and land beyond myself
@Epic1 Also, this may seem weird to ask. But I was wondering how busy your schedule is. I'll be going to college and I'll be getting a job. And I'm wondering how well you fit parkour training in with all these other things?
I train this outside. At the public pool there are 20/30 rails, normally to park your bike at... people look strange when I move all bikes aside and do my flow training xD
having trouble finding a gym with "open Gym" or free time or what ever you want to call it in my area, suggestions? tired of messing up on hard ground which is all there really is around here
I suck at kong vaults, do you have any tips (and I mean reeeeally suck, I get my feet caught at the end EVERY time, even if I have my knees alomst into my chest...maybe I need to lift them higher then)
I wasn't saying this is a problem.. but it's like being anosmic (yap, that IS a problem I have but..) - When someone comes to you asking you if he smells good, you stuck with that question. When someone wants me to do something, or teach me (I'm the kind of people who just like to learn sports XD) and he asks what is my primary foot - I JUST DONT KNOW.. And eventually it's the right foot, but everything (but tick-tack, which I'm working on) is not foot-blematic or proble-footick

is good to watch those runs with the sound off n just look for details in the moves
i wonder if there's anyone who doesn't like epic and the way he explains moves.. man you're a genius! rock on bud!

@NarakaPath

If I stay positive, will I attract negativity as opposites attract?
Great vid as always Epic.

Also, this may seem weird to ask. But I was wondering how busy your schedule is. I'll be going to college and I'll be getting a job. And I'm wondering how well you fit parkour training in with all these other things?
@Epic1 thanks man, kinda feel stupid for not thinking of that in the first place
I train this outside. At the public pool there are 20/30 rails, normally to park your bike at... people look strange when I move all bikes aside and do my flow training xD
if im running up a wall and im left footed and i only need one foot to plant should i push off my left to start? or push off the wall with my left?
By the way, what's that move called where you throw your legs over first then plant your hands down?
this is the tip i needed! thanks
having trouble finding a gym with "open Gym" or free time or what ever you want to call it in my area, suggestions? tired of messing up on hard ground which is all there really is around here
gonna start trying parkour but god i love the song in the begining!!
@hollandcoleman that's the 360 vault
@Epic1 I was asking for a link to the TD Raiz, i couldnt find it but i have now, dont worry.
ty :)
where do you find such a nice place to practice?
I have a problem - I'm not specific-footed - I do everything on both.. and I don't notice which..
Could you make a tutorial on the touchdown raiz'?
what about if the things you're vaulting are close together
You flow so well D: ITS AWESOME!
I need help! I want to find a gym like this (available to my age, 14), but I'm not in any sports programs at school. So how could I do that?
are there any tips for jumping higher because i can't seem to jump very well please respon!
@Epic1 but its pretty hard to find suitable obstacles.
so just take a bigger\smaller step right before the jump - get ready for the jump...
What if you're going for a kong to precision?
epic i cant get the flips down and there is nowere i can proctice trying to scale a wall any tips
I suck at kong vaults, do you have any tips (and I mean reeeeally suck, I get my feet caught at the end EVERY time, even if I have my knees alomst into my chest...maybe I need to lift them higher then)
very helpful, thanks!
Lucky! that can make all the difference because u have a choice if u want just do it multiple times switching feet
I suggest if you do mess up in a tutorial its probly best to edit it out,
What's the spinning vault at 1:23? Is there a name/tutorial for it?
MAN you are a LEGEND!
can wight hold factor in this please reply if so any tips

do you still wear the wfpf ko shoes?
Tutorial request: Reverse Vault... not too much tutorials out there for it
were do you get all those blocks?
can i buy them gym block things from any where?
@Epic1 ok thanks for the i guess enthusiastic reply
My right side is dominant but I jump off my left foot.
what are those blocks called???
@Epic1 Link please?
@Epic1 The beginners can think for themselves. Fair enough making a tutorial for the vaults but the steps in between should be common sense
@Epic1 I'm happy :)
where is that?
@traceurelements best vaults
@Jordan360Z just go on his channelpage and search for touchdown raiz...
I like how everyone requests tutorials and then people start to complain on silly things when he uploads them.
This all makes sense, but I'm a little confused how a precision ties into this. Won't taking off and landing on two feet disrupt your flow?
You only want to take off and land two feet precisions when you're taking a big gap, or when you're jumping downwards
Then you go down onto your hands + feet and dash
@ozzzzzy1 Then why search for this?
@Epic1 ok ty ill search on google xD
Good tutorial, thank ;p
@94traceur so? :)
yay assassins and coincidentally i just finished a real hidden blade yesterday
