Never too late! ⏰ Thanks for the feedback mate, I’ll aim to keep bringing out painting guides and hopefully something else will give you some more ideas along the way. 🤘
Amazing video. I really like the texturing part. It really makes the model unique especially the cracked one. I also loved how you provided an easy blending method PLUS giving the tip (with ratios) to smoothen it. I wondered how to perform a glow effect without airbrush, and i got that as well. Great content, thanks😊
This was a great tutorial! I really appreciate how the video is well paced especially during the glazing sections of the necron's blades. Never underestimate the power of the wet pallet either! Loved the Sandy one. The OSL looks phenomenal too on the bonus model! Fun fact: Grimdark was MY nickname in highschool! ... nah, not really.
I think this will help me paint my necrons cause I’m new to warhammer and I’ve been trying to find a video to help me paint my necrons when I get the stuff to thanks. 😐
Absolutely. At the moment it doesn’t use too much paint if you put a couple of drops down and then thin it. But instead you could do it in reverse and have silver Necrons that you wash with a dark brown and once dry, you apply a thinned brighter orange into select recess areas like rust staining. 👍
@Mr.PianoMan369 oh sorry you mean fewer number of paints rather than the amount of paint going on the model? Got you. Yeah well that second idea would be only 3 colours for the body itself and then with a couple of bright colours for your blades you are looking at half a dozen paints total which I think is a win 👍 But if you want even fewer; - silver base - brown wash - 2 colours for the blades 🙌
@@flashingbadgerpaintingI know this may be a lot to ask but if possibly in a video if you do another painting of anything could you include a rusty style with less different paints??
Hope you enjoyed the video! Thanks again everyone for the ongoing support. 😀
Rusty is my favourite.
And it was my nickname in high school.
Bahaha
As scorpek destroyers are my entry to this hobby, what solid and beautiful painting. MUST HAVE FROSTY BLADES!😮
Awesome! Welcome to the hobby 😀
Nice guide! Found it both Funny and detailed!
Hey thanks so much 😀
Gotta thank the algorithm for randomly suggesting this. Great video sir! Looking forward to future content!
Awesome! I frequently offer sacrifices to the algorithm gods. Todays will be a packet of a Doritos … which I will consume on their behalf
Super rad quick and easy necron colors love it. Keep up the great content bud
Hey thanks so much 😀
(Late comment) i love the purple blades, certainly using it in my necron army

Hahaha! Thanks for that. Oof, Grimdark would be a cool nickname.
@@flashingbadgerpainting it would fit the highschool emo phase for sure
🤣🤣
I love this so much! Ive been trying to find a guide to do sandy bone like armor for my renegade guard and this is perfect
Awesome! I love hearing when these guides are actually useful for someone. Enjoy painting them 👍
Sent this to the necron players around me. Id really like to see your take on Tau (tau/viorla/something wild)
Awesome! Thanks for sending it out 😀 I’ve never painted Tau before, but Mech suits would be fun!

Awesome! Glad it has helped. Let me know how you go with your Necrons 👍
Ok
Great job, Pink Glow! 😊
Thank you! 😊
Great Video!
Hey thanks so much 😀
Would there be any way to do the rusted style with less paint like for someone newer and not sure about it
Absolutely. At the moment it doesn’t use too much paint if you put a couple of drops down and then thin it. But instead you could do it in reverse and have silver Necrons that you wash with a dark brown and once dry, you apply a thinned brighter orange into select recess areas like rust staining. 👍

Background was a bit too white and bright to see the painting.
Thanks for the feedback on the video 👍
Yep I’ve since gone back to the black background which I think has helped
Your cringe “jokes” made the video unwatchable 🤦🏼♂️
You really aren’t going to like the audiobook of it then. 👀
