Honestly if I was the scientist and the guy said "It needs to be more pointy, I'd say "Of course supreme leader!" and then later just duct tape/weld a hollow metal cone to the top and see if he could notice the difference
Thats genius 😂😂
@@exosproudmamabear558also very stupid because targeting sensors, itd be smarter to do some kinda wooden cone coverd in paper
@@Starnite_ But isnt supreme leader wants to make them fear? So wouldnt it be better to be sensors to pick it up and whole nation get a warning like North Korea does to Japan time to time? The bomb wont be used in the war anyway.
If a person can think it in this way ,he won't be a person who is doing the nuclear weapons
The thing is: he is right. 80%-100% of the work of such missiles, espaily in for such dictators, is propaganda and fear. Most of this things will never get blown up. So an angry look is sometimes more important.
Completely false. The fear comes from demonstrating that they can fly effectively and target accurately, not from how they look in the silo.
@@Mooo105Most people never see those rockets fly, but a lot of people fear them.
They dont need to fear the experts und politicians but the ordinary poeple. And these poeple care more about optics than prove of flying capabilities.
@@Mooo105Someone needs to watch some research films smh
@@Eloridas No. Just look at N. Korea or other countries. Fear and propaganda is from tests, from demonstrations. Not just from telling whatever. Sure, you can just show something for ordinary people. But also for them it's more important to hear about tests, to see news around the world seriously considering new threat, etc.
@@よしみ-x5j @user-vr8qd4hk6y The particular rocket, we are talking about, was in the movie supposed to hold nuclear weapons. The ones that are testet, are the dummy versions. There is the one that are testet and the ones shown. The ones shown should be the dangerous ones and they get not fired.
Look as N.Korea or Russia for example. They show the dangerous ones on parades und test the dummy versions.
Even N Korea dont test their nuclear weapons in missiles. They test stuff, that could be loadet into missiles and than show the missiles. And even they didnt done general nuclear weapons testing for 6 years. So NO! You dont fire up this particular rocket in a real scenario. Its a propaganda peace.
Aladeen might be an idiot but he was smart enough to detect sarcasm when Nuclear Nadal pulled the "Okay I'm there", lol.
Sass not sarcasm.
To be fair, he wasn't talking about science, but rather aesthetics and psychology. In which case, it's hard to say he was wrong.
well im not sure about the rocket sticking in the ground part

Good educational material of the risks of becoming a dictator. I will adjust my plans accordingly.
step 1: don't keep the fellow you usurped around, he might not be as 'cool' about it as you think
@@ErnieBatemanreally?😐
If you going to be a dictator, you need to learn from stalin.
He regularly executed his subordinates so that none of them had time to acquire too many connections within the government and could not organize a conspiracy against Stalin.
It worked great up until 1953 when something went wrong.
"The shape of the missile top has nothing to do with aerodynamics. It's about payload delivery" 🤣🤣🤣
Yep that was the line
No. It sticks in the ground and then kaboom
Yep thats what he said in the video
Well it could be a single warhead design but unless your targeting 1 crap country with a single most powerful 200megaton warhead with a pointy cone on it lol
This is fact though
The scene that inspired Elon Musk. 😂🤣
Truee lol
😂
Context? What did Elon musk do ?
@@junaugust2705 He made his spacex rocket pointy. Childish act, tbh.
@@friedrichmyers he named it a what ?
I love how he is willing to keep arguing with the scientist, its when the "pretend i'm idiot" bit that he decided that this guy have to go.
Little did they know that Nuclear Nadal escaped and started a new life as a police officer named Pimento.
And eventually was digitally recreated as Derek!
I remember that this scene was a bit longer.
Right after Nadal says "Okay, I'm there.", Aladeen literally asks him if the missile would bounce back and blow up Wadiya instead of landing on Israel.
I think you're right. I seem to remember that too. I have noticed that UA-cam clips of movies sometimes omit certain parts.
@@brucea9871 There's an extended version of this scene that wasn't in the theatrical reason, but is in a lot of other versions.
Probably cut the Israel part out because people are snowflakes.
Often times the warhead is actually behind the front of the missile 😂
...and Karen missed the humour.
@@deadcarz4926 You have no reasons to assume this. It's just a remark, what you are on

@@よしみ-x5j Did you think this was a documentary? 😂
@deadcarz4926 did you have to be rude for no reason?
The shape of the missile's top has everything to do with aerodynamics.
Yeah, but to his defense, just a round tip would be really bad for a nuclear missile.
Too pointy, and it overheats, too round and drag gets higher. Western submarine launched ballistic missiles use a aerospike to "cheat" the air into thinking the whole nose is pointy at supersonic speeds.
You misunderstood, he means that "we didn't make this shape to optimize for aerodynamics, but instead the payload delivery".
@@Navhkrin well, for anything that is supposed to fly faster than Mach 1.5 in "low" atmosphere, aerodynamics really matter.
The first nuclear bombs are meant to be dropped from a plane, so they are often cylindrical and round. It was only when ICBMs came out that nuclear weapons start to take missile shapes. Even then the sleek missile shape is actually the shape of the ICBM. The bomb inside is typically still very round.
@@evilapple3427 and the US initially used blunt-nosed reentry vehicles for warheads, similar to crewed capsules like Apollo or Dragon. The materials at that time did not permit higher speeds in the final descent, today, the smaller RV are conical and can store the heat until explosion or impact, without slowing down too much.
I actually used the "ok I'm there" quote on my former boss during a meeting. Keyword there being "former", but then again I had wanted to dump that job for a very long time anyway. Totally worth it.
"The missile is to round, it needs to be pointy" 😅

This movie was brilliant. The dialogue criticising the West was great too. Really enjoyed it.
West bad waaa 🤓👆👆👆
@@jxxxxx44actually no, not what it said or meant.
But it didn't hide critical punches either.
Some peoples with snowflake thin eggshells of nationalistic egotism, would find it too brutally honest, truthful and hurt their opinions.
Yet,..
Without 'the fool/jester' to point out the realities to the audience, how would the spell be broken for truths to be seen ??
Much of the West often prefers to at least try to know its mistakes and fix the things behind them, at least more often than other nations do or do not do,
Hell, look at Russia (& its CIS-Federation), Peoples Republic of China, Islamic Republic of Iran, Peoples Republic of North Korea and the lies they tell relative to the truths they hide...
After Borat, I thought I had my fill of Sacha
But dammit, I might hafta watch this lol

I did not stand through this. It was painful to watch.
This short "best of" is funny... but it already started to itch. ;)
@@jackmclane1826 that was my problem with borat. it was... too crude at some points, maybe not the right wording, but cant describe it. felt uneasy rather than amused. didnt have that problem with the dictator though :o
The Dictator is overall slightly less cheesy, and more meaningful than Borat IMHO, and f you like democracy and jokes that sometimes are really really cheesy in a good way..
"The missile is round, it needs to be pointy!"
Honestly if it was me as the scientist I would explain the design and how it works like I’m talking to a child before I even started the rocket with a video showing the explosion
Nuclear Nadal: Okay, Im there...
Aladeeen: 😳
Ok I'm there.... Lol I'm dying
To be fair, Iran missiles is pointy
It took me so much time to figure out that Nadal is Pimento.

Ray Dalio “I’m giving you direction. You’re not writing it down.”
Ferrucci (inventor of IBM Watson) “I’m taking in your input.”
Dalio “You work for me.”
Ferrucci “I work for Greg.”
Dalio “No, you work for me.” “How many people think that Dave is looking at this the right way?” One of Dalio’s assistants furiously typed the prompt into her iPad, creating an instant poll for those in the room. The verdict was that Ferrucci was looking at it wrong.
Dalio gave his list of tweaks: “This is what I want to see.”
Ferrucci “That’s not a valid algorithm. That’s not scientific, Ray.”
From Rob Copeland, The Fund, on Bridgewaters. Amazing book.
The shape of the tip is important.
Women tend to agree.
to be fair, he wasnt wrong, which would you be scared of, a round top missile, or a pointy top missile?
When launched, people cannot see the tip at all.
Aladeen changed his mind after he lived in the US. Possibly he went to museums and got better understanding of effective weapons design.
😂 I lought a lot
They cut out the Israel part... lol.
my favorite part is all he needed to do was put a shroud on the payload lol. This would shed off in space and thus payload would still be applied properly. The shroud can be pointy lolololol
Aye, Its Detective Adrian Pimento . I guess we know what type of undercover work he was doing.
The ss-18 icbm is round at the top. 😂😂😂
I mean... boss gave an order, peon didn't follow order but mocked boss instead, peon gets removed.... wouldn't be different in an actual company... without the killing part of course
"This line of company revenue is going down. It needs to go up."
He's such a dictator he killed a dead guy
The actual nuclear missiles you can visit in US museums are actually round, not pointy.
Aladeen changed his mind AFTER he lived in the US. So it's possible he saw the actual American missiles are round not pointy and then realized his missiles also don't need to be pointy.
I see the problem here “It is too round at the top it needs to be pointy. Round is not scary. Pointy is scary.”
