It,s very Nice to see you and Sharon(baby)having such a good time together. Excellent and very understandable explanations of the Briggs&Stratton hidden secrets. Talking of B&S,..perhaps you can talk about their four stroke engines when time allows? Many people struggle with no start/hard start conditions due to lacking valve adjustment of valves(exhaust in special) on 4 strokes. B&S engines are very good engines! Big hug to you and Sharon! :).
Come on Mart give me some more vids, Just got out hospital after me by-pass! feel like crap slightly better every day. Keep e'm coming Martin thanks for the awesome vids.
Great video Martin. You are looking a little flustered there lol. Give Sharon a self drive mower instead of that old push mower lol. I saw the pictures of the reliant chassis and the great welding job you did. Look forward to the next video keep em coming Martin. Cheers, Jeff.
Nice to see I'm not the only one who has days like this. I've learned when everything goes to hell to just give up for the day. But I'd say you won here cuz you got her to mow. haha All the best, Jay
The trick is not to let it go right to the end of the spring .. lol as you know ... you had me in stitches with this video haha ... keep up the good work Martin always enjoy your videos 😉
You can't win em all Martin, I did wonder as you were doing the cord if you had turned it a couple of extra times, a lot of the time I just finish it at the recoil and don't bother with the handle clip, I find that give me extra pull. Sharon was on form today giving you some grief lol. Good vid thanks.
+retrorestore I work with my other half gardening and it's quite funny watching her when she breaks the mower, she's looking around it and hasn't a clue, the other week I saw her pushing it rather than using the drive, I said what have you done now, the cable had just slipped out of its holder on the handle. Usually it more involved than that, meaning an evening of stripping the mower down to sort out the drive.
I needed a good laugh. That was funny. What was Barney eating on the patio? Looks like he was pulling at weeds? Bison too, or did you drop a burger patty there? It's true, the cobblers shoes have holes, and the mechanic walks to work because his car is broken and your lawnmower had no oil and a frayed pull cord. That is Spring tuning work. Oil change always. Clean the spark plug, clear out the stuck on grass debris form under the deck. Oh, that lamp. Master of Disaster? Right Sharon? Looking forward to the next video. Happy Fathers Day Martin.
Haha your right there Bri about tranesmen lol. Always doing other people's stuff and not their own lol. They keep pulling the grass clumps, Barney started it and now Bison does it. Cheers Martin
Have you thought about retro restore day for fans to check out your projects ? You could even do a cooking demo with baby ! "She says I am the dipstick" light hearted gold . Too short ha ha plug caps off ha ha. Thanks for the chuckle.
Cheers Dan, I could have cut those out but it's all part of it in my eyes lol. Was thinking of doing a few events when the Trotter van is done to publisize the channel.
retrorestore I'm good Martin, Thanks for asking...I always like and watch your videos when I see them on my UA-cam feed even though I don't comment often.
Yes, I see from your vids Austin that the hay fever is a pain. I had it since the age of 14 until about 48 and don't get it any more. Was a right pain though. Cheers Martin
hi martin i have a good easy job for you to make a bit of money on i have a lintex jet 125 just needs a kick start as the elctirc one dont kick in has mot utill aug only wont 160 quid for it just thought i would ask you lol
I was wondering if you could tell me how often I should service my flymo brigg and stratosphere engine. Pops can you send me your email so I can send you a picture of the lawnmower
Not much needed each year bud, just check the Oil level, Air Filter and Plug and drain the fuel before storing over the winter and you should be fine for a few years. Cheers Martin
Glad to see that even the experts don't always get it right. Hope you had a great Father's Day.
Haha, thanks Mark, Apart from that c#ck up, it was a good day.
Cheers
Martin
Love the vid, the humour, etc. You know the old saying,
“the man who never made a mistake, never made anything.”
👍
Great video. I really liked your comment about respecting the engine and disconnecting the spark plug for safety. I will remember that. Best wishes.
Thanks for watching!

You have my sympathy Martin, those bloody pull start springs are a nightmare, I once nearly took my eye out fixing one.
Oh dear, Not quite had that happen but they can be a right pain though, especially if you cut the cord too short lol.
Cheers
Martin
There are days, Martin, where it's best to leave the spanners alone - today was your day! Do that self propelled up for Sharon to use!
Haha, yes, it was one of those days lol, I'll give it to her for her birthday lol.
Byson hates mowers it looks like. He just keep barking at it. Superb video by the way, cheers, the lawn mower boy.
Great video Martin. You are looking a little flustered there lol. Give Sharon a self drive mower instead of that old push mower lol. I saw the pictures of the reliant chassis and the great welding job you did. Look forward to the next video keep em coming Martin.

Great fun Martin! Hope you had a great Father's Day other than the pull cord mishap; somewhere there is a proper length of pull cord out there. ;-)
Haha, yes there is and i've gotta fix it lol.
Cheers
Martin
Can lawnmowers be converted to drill start? I had to change a few pull cords on one of my nitro cars due to them snapping or jamming.
Too much hassle that Michael but i've seen it done though.
Cheers
Martin

Nice to see I'm not the only one who has days like this. I've learned when everything goes to hell to just give up for the day. But I'd say you won here cuz you got her to mow. haha
