behringer 600 multi effects =D super stoked to see one of my favorite guitarists using that pedal because it was actually the very first pedal I ever bought and I have 2 of them on my board actually.
great series, love tera melos! you guys should just shoot some other takes of the pedals while he's playing with the knobs and stuff and insert them during the videos as well! awesome video nonetheless :)
Nick's a funkin genius! Not just finding cool sounds but knowing immediately what he can do with those sounds where thy go in a melody or riff, it's like watching him build a complicated but interesting sonic puzzle. I also love talking to smart guitar players about their gear set up, I think most guitarists do that too. But often, I get inspired watching live music from bands that aren't very good but you can see that there was a spark of something original, an idea one of them started with but they just missed all the opportunities to have refined it to cut hone and polish it up and make it a shiny diamond that would have it resonated with lots more people... but they blew it - so i would steal it! and my band would play it and we made loads of cash that way, then pretty soon we were being courted A&R guys from small labels at firs the bigger ones started showing up while we were considering between the small ones then next thing you know we have a label and we're on tour opening up for bigger acts, and playing at bigger and bigger festivals then when we put our first album out and had our deal for 4 more i forgot that we didn't write any of our music but i knew we'd find a way to bullshit out another 3 or so albums off other people music somehow.. Maybe You've heard of us... Gun's & Roses? Anyone?
IS there like a Noise Gate or something that is Auto leveling the sound on this Vid? Or is it maybe that the recording mic is getting overloaded when he starts playing? The volume drops way way down but you can hear it at full volume for a sec just as he starts then just before he stops
1ManNamedDan im guessing its the transition between the audio from the mic for the amp and the mic in the camera for the talking. its obviously pretty loud and at the very end of his playing when they cut to the camera audio, we hear a bit of the guitar sound come through loud
