For a while I had this awesome memory of when I was visiting a Laundromat with my mom back in the 90s, and over the years I Inadvertently morphed both Raiden and Aero Fighters. I played Raiden 1, 2, Raiden Fighters, Raiden Jet Fighters and none of those games were the specific memory I was looking for. One day I saw Aero Fighters 2 on Xbox and when I bought it, That's when I finally found the Long Lost 'Raiden' Game I was looking for. 😂😂 If I ever had a Full Scale Cab, it would absolutely be a Neo Geo. The Line Up growing up was Aero Fighters 1 or 2, Puzzle Bobble 1 or 2, Metal Slug and a KOF game. I remember there being a Super Strikers too. I could be wrong..... But man! I could have swore I also played Capcom's 3 Wonders on a Neo Geo cab. 1:17 Ya dude!! I had a similar effect! I guess it's because it was the only cab with more than 1 game and each game was like a Hit! By 95 I was 6, born in March so between late 6 early 7 Year Old I was also Stuck by the Big Red! I remember seeing KOF 94, 95, and so on until that day th first CVS was there. I didn't even run in to an MVC cab or game yet but I definitely saw the first CVS before we moved and cabs became those old things. 😂 by 8 or 9 I was a Snobby Console Gamer for sure! 😂😂 by that age you think you know everything 😂

Try this to make your crt turn on: 1) push on all of the eprons everywhere on all of the pcb’s they get loose during shipping. Then on the crt neck pull the small 4”x4” neck board off and then push it back on and reset it. This should make the crt work. It’s best to do while the cabinet it is on because it could take many attempts to get it to sit right. You will need a mirror or someone else watching the monitor to let you know the screen is displayed

Picked up my big red yesterday for 1K with 7 carts, only 50 miles each way. About the same, condition as yours... only mine is working 👇😎🤞. If the monitor is OG, it needs a cap kit after 30+ years. Already ordered an old 100-in-1 cart which will hold me over for now. Side art is slightly more worn but I love the patina & will leave it but will probably get a new mem card decal. Mine is yellow too, must be SNES plastic.

That’s a massive cab. I’ve been looking for a big red for a while. It’s funny bc this style cab is the only one that pops up. Just too big for me in my space. Search continues for a smaller one!
wow, really cool pickup man! 😌👍 i've had the same cab for 4 weeks! 💪 the difference is, i'm from germany! in germany you can find dedicated cabs, candy cabs and some german universal cabs. us cabs are not nearly as common here. midway cabs are still the most common here, but not as common either. a capcom big blue and a neo geo big red are unicorns in germany, i'd say, and i have both in my small private collection, next to an original mortal kombat cab. so i've been lucky twice! 😊 us cabs are not that popular in germany because they are so big and heavy. i love us cabs! 😍 My Big Blue is the second one-piece version, Marvel Super Heroes, unfortunately the low budget version, without the Qsound amplifier, with ugly speaker grilles and cheap speakers. I now have an original amplifier (nos) and the required transformer (nos), but I'm still looking for the original beautiful speaker grilles and if possible the original speakers too. the early mortal kombat-series and street fighter (and cps2-fighters in general) are my childhood, neo geo came with collecting old video game consoles about 14 years ago. my big red is technically ok, but cosmetically it needs a bit more work, like yours. 😩 i'll follow your journey! thank you very much, what good timing! 😁👍
