Kamil is a VERY capable technician, as you can tell from the video. He demonstrated a lot of patience on this board which many other shops likely would've tossed & called a no-fix. Techs like this that are happy to keep banging their head against the wall as if it were their own machine they were working on, when they are free to give up and move onto the next board, make me feel lucky I met them - and help give this business its reputation.
If you need audio equipment fixed, he has a side business doing that - check out his shop! drdbbrooklyn.com/ He puts in the same care doing that work, that he puts into the work he does here, and I hope his side business prospers into something he can do full time. There's no more rewarding feeling than when someone you hire starts their own company and eventually makes more money than you do in the future with what they've created, being there early on & getting to see it all develop.
Compared to owners of repair stores in Germany, you have a completely different attitude. No repair store owner here would be happy to have an employee go into business for himself, and even worse, possibly make more money than himself. I think your attitude is just outstanding, Louis.
@@flodgey Negative? I don't get it.
I know I am quite off topic but does anyone know a good site to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Maddox Dustin I would suggest flixportal. Just google for it :)
@Milan Melvin Yup, have been watching on Flixportal for months myself :)
Lots of negativity, not sure why people are so focused on the technician's hands and physicality.
You're a capable technician, speak clearly and enunciate well. I don't generally "watch" board repair videos, but I listen to them. Keep being you dude.
Louis! Get this guy doing more streams! He's good, and good at talking his way through it.
I hate it when they put board repairs on a real estate channel
Ha, nice
I hate it when they put board repairs _and_ real estate on a cat channel!
I literally love everything about this video. Please show how Chris does PCH, CPU/GPU swaps. Would love it!
Louis has really changed 😂 especially with the black nails.
He's in a band, he's goth, and it's none of our business?
@@nancyparker3732 and it was a joke Karen
@@PainX187 shes a nancy bro
Hey, Paul Daniels, this would be a great application for Augmented Reality -- type the name of a rail and its locations are superimposed over the camera image, for instance. Point to a chip and its designation lights up. Point to somewhere in the schematic and the relevant . . . you get the picture.
Nice job.
I like the idea
Louis was trying to find the tackiest hotel in Florida, to purchase it so he could repair it and have a holiday retreat
This is like an ARG where Vaush gives up politics to become a PC repairman.
But actually doing something productive for society
I thought thats who it was at first glance on the thumbnail 🤣🤣
@@shorb2289 the left wingers have done productive things for society, eg labour law, OSHA, financial protections
@@superhamz7 Those where people who where out their actually doing something and fighting for what they believed in to get legislature much like right to repair. Vaush meanwhile is making communism 101 videos in his basement.
@@shorb2289 he's done more than most of us will do in our lifetimes, he's raised hundreds of thousands for charity. He's de-radicalised lots of far righters.
Also he hardly ever bring up pure theory, he usually just talks about stuff happening, I wouldn't say communism 101
Your nail color is so pretty. Honestly makes me want to paint my nails again. Love your energy too. Looking forward to seeing more board repairs from you in the future Kamil :)
I really love the outro of this channel. "I hope you learned something". I am happy the other technicians are saying it too.
I’m downvoting only because I want you to have grande confidence
I'm not a tech and don't even own a mac book but I enjoy the hell out of watching fine craftsmanship.
For Kamil, on the 3d printing for fixtures topic, I suggest looking into resin printing. It doesn't rely on meltable filaments being UV cured instead, there are high temperature resins (even ceramic resins you can fire in a mini kiln to get a finished ceramic piece) and resin printing usually has tolerances in the micron range.
Good job! We need more of your team on the stream.
I literally love everything about this video. Please show how Chris does PCH, CPU/GPU swaps. Would love it!
I enjoy on - camera repairs. They don’t need to be live, you don’t need to stream them. Editing is good. I am happy to ‘meet’ another employee. Hello Kamil, your black nail polish gives Louis’ black gloves a challenge.
Love the idea rolling your chair wheel over the solder! nice repair job too.
Damned brilliant squeezing the excess flux out of the solder paste. I've never thought to try that when reballing chips. Great work!
board repair video - ZERO VIEWS!
stonks, cats and girl - UNLIMITED!
Kamil good guy!
The master at work!
You are a great communicator.
Many thanks! 😀
Omg, i looked at the thumbnail and thought it was Vaush 🤣🤣 thank god its not!
Edge-of-seat good! Great video, Kamil.
"More better" is a funny redundancy
What an amazing community. We have a subscriber who thumbs down Rossmann's videos as soon as he uploads so that it builds his character. Incredible...
It's nice when the bad chip preheats itself for you.
Appreciate all the work you've benn doing.
DAMN IT, he read my mind 🤣
Hey Louis, new haircut looking good man
I don't know who the other Vaush is, but I like this Vaush much more already. Great stream! Cool repair! Thanks for sharing.
He's basically a grifter with a communist propaganda niche. He also said he thinks child porn should legal to own in a stream with destiny.
That Apple logo sticker on the chair headrest, though 😂
This guy has that classic New York stoner voice.
Why do we have repair videos in Real Estate channel?
Brilliant video Kamil, great delivery and energy as well as good info... is there a Kamil youtube channel?
32:32 absolute magic!
Thanks for the replay button
Damn, that was a beautiful reballing!
Just out of interest: What would you charge for an involved repair like that? I imagine convincing the owner this is economical for him, might be a tough sale.
Kamil you are doing great. Just ignore those few down votes. 👍 Greetings from Germany.
Great ....I am a engineer....but learned a lot from you.
That was a slog, well done guys, nice show. (from another old skool techy that walked away from component lvl reps when PC's started being fixed by board swapping monkeys with screwdrivers)
You’re not Louis Rossman
I recommend watching some videos by Erkin at HDDRecovery when it comes to reballing. Makes it look effortless. No offense, but he's the master.
NIce meetin ya!
Square hole stencils are better than round hole stencils.
I Thought that was "Vaush" for a second
yea no not Vaush i know because we are 50s into the video and i havent hurled my breakfast up yet
oh hell yeah
I think it would take more then a week in Florida for Lois to get a tan
Lol, you are way more fabulous than Vaush.
And kudos for carrying the flag for Louis while he is busy comprehending how bad NYC really is.
Fr tho I thought Louis finally snapped at the real-estate market and did a vaush crossover lmao
@@jodinha4225
Now why would someone who honestly believes in his cause do a crossover with a grifter
great vid !
People in one region sure have . . . jaundiced views of other regions. It's a beautiful country.
You always deserve the weekend off.
Hello Louis, I really enjoy your content and would love to send my Macbook pro to you but I'm from South Africa so sending this Macbook Pro to you isn't really an option. I'm going to try my luck and ask here.
Problem: Macbook Turns on and chimes but the screen has colorful lines running vertically down the screen. I have connected it to an external monitor and its not Displaying there either. I have done the Shift + Ctrl + Option + Power Button suggestion on the mac support website. What would you say is more likely the problem the GPU chip on the logic board, the screen, the cable or the display assembly??
Keep building character!
You need a micro Fractal vice ;-)
Louis looks hella different with the beard. Didn't know it affected his voice too!.
Why did I read it as logic beard repair?
Link to Piernov's articles or website?
Can the suction fan be off now?
might not watch but ill like and comment : D
i dont have nothing on goth, but that nail looks disgusting. for cleaning that pads on chip is good little ESD metal brush. But i like to resolder pads so have little halfballs and than used smaller amount of paste to form balls
1:06:01 what is the name of that tape again?
The yellow tape is kapton tape. The bit he puts down to hold the chip is 2 sided tape made by 3M.
Hi
voice not deep and sultry enough to vaush. you had me for a second
Downvote is still a channel interaction!
Weird zombies are California, not Florida.
He looks like Vaush
this guy looks like Vaush but he actually seems to have talent and something to say... Also, by the way, all jokes aside, thanks for the video!
LOL not Vaush
Hello vaush
Yeah, I'm not impressed with Florida either.
Looks like it's possible for repair videos to get millions of views. It just has to include restoration and be ASMR. Check out youtuber Odd Tinkering. Not useful videos however.
I don't know who David is, but he sure is a troll.
>>"NOT VAUSH"
That's what Vaush _would_ say. Of course, he doesn't appear to possess any actual skills, so.. I guess your story checks out.
NOT A CAT
Did not watch
👍
Heiß and the rest is
HS this guy acts like a CS LOL..
what happened with his nails, they are dirty
Yeah, what's with that? It is not only ugly but impractical in case of a medical emergency.
Hey Louis what do you call people without facial hair? Women.
you are not Louis.
dude's fingernails look like a lady lol
Yeah, what's with that? It is not only ugly but impractical in case of a medical emergency.
