This was a fantastic series, but overall the show took an awful lot of liberties with the life and career of Spartacus and the Roman Republic. For example, we do know that in RL Spartacus was something of a mediocre gladiator, adn the only recorded bout featuring him he lost and was lucky to be spared. His strength came in his ability to suss out the Romans on the battlefield, he knew their strengths and weaknesses and was a brilliant military commander, specialising in guerilla tactics and refusing to let the Romans deploy their troops to use their own tactics - he probably (but it is not certain) had served in the ROman army before as an auxiliary cavalryman, so knew something of their tactics and their reliance on heavy infantry anyway. In the immortal words of one Roman military commentator/writer you can probably find the best tribute to Spartacus : '(Spartacus)'s greatest ability was in his capacity to lead and motivate his fellow slaves, who should have been no match man-for-man against our superior legionaries. Also, he won so many battles against our legions and capable generals because he refused to fight fairly, always attacking our weakest points at the least expected moments.'

One the greatest series in TV History. 5 stars!
Perfect appointment😮😢😅😊
Tbh I loved the crowd scenes almost as much as the fighting, bits out all over the place.
Spartacus is the real world hero..
Spartacus later came to be addressed as the bringer of rain, slayer of Theokoles, much to the envy of Crixius.
RIP Andy Whitfield.
And the winner is Theokoles
For real. If he wasn't such a glutton for punishment this fight would be 3 minutes shorter.
@@zaxbitterzen2178 you are right
I wish they would start another Series this was incredible
I heard they are making new series, House of Ashur , if I remember the name right.
Without sunlight theokoles would win 1 vs 2 easily.
Good teamwork 👍😎.
Ononaimes got pimp game on warriors that's why he walks away
