Thanks for the video. It was very interesting to hear how your earnings are going. Pond5 was a big surprise. I had stopped uploading videos there. It's lovely to hear that there is some life left there. SS has been down in Feb for me compared to AS. Very sorry to hear about the water leak; it's a pain. I had several problems here at home as well. Thankfully, I managed to fix them all myself but, in the process, I didn't get round to shooting and uploading new contents. It goes like this sometimes. BTW, I keep my money earned from stock photos and videos separate, which I use towards renewing software licenses or any upgrades. My other half is happy with that. A similar arrangement might help you upgrade your camera gear in due course, just a thought. Keep up the good works. We love your friendly videos.
Thanks for the feedback about the separate account. Yes I do that too but lately the costs were so high I had to sacrifice my camera upgrade etc for having a functioning bathroom and other essentials :-) . Life ay... Sorry to hear you also had these kinds of dilemmas. And I'm glad you were able to fix them yourself that makes a huge difference. Here's hoping for more rare P5 sales And that the other 3 agencies boost in sales for the coming year!
Thanks Jeff, I think it's turning around so I have to take the good with the bad sometimes :-). Hope you are doing well amigo and thanks for dropping in!
Thanks so much Alistair. Looking forward to sunday. I'm just about to pick up my rental R6mk2 and 24-70 lens and flash. I love doing timelapses and the couds and blue sky made this one pop :-). All the best!
Thanks Steve, I've had a few sales of previous photos of these so thought video would also hopefully be successful too. Just need to add some basic editing and warp stabilizer
Hi Andrew, thanks for the video. I average about 1 image sale a year on Pond 5 so... yeah. Not good there. For some reason Adobe has exploded. January and February combined have netted me around 260 downloads and an easy $100 per month just for Adobe. SS a little disappointing, but some nice sales on Alamy. So we'll see what the future holds...
Hi Brett, yes we are relying on fewer agencies now to deliver our revenue, which means things are changing a lot. Well done on the rise of your AS sales. 260 downloads. That is a result. And sales on Alamy. Congrats to you!
Hi Andrew! How did you do at the photographic shoot? I made about $40 n Feb, 10 of which were from a 8 AI generated illustrations ( uploaded from Dec-Feb). I'm slowing starting to upload more. I love those pics of the harbor of yours, the ones with the green energy generation will be selling for sure. Big hug 🙂
hello Edgloris, great that you are uploading more and creating AI images. The shoot was long and tough but I think I did well. I take my hat off to photographers who shoot events for a living. Thanks for the kind words. Yes the harbour shots often do well for me. Have a great March XXXX
@@andrewbalcombe1338 I am still getting some rewards from early uploads, I didn’t use them for a while when I wanted to upload some pictures not so long ago I didnt get If I missed something or it is true that you have to pay now.

Great that you are more active in stock industry again! I made 200 dollars in February. Alamy surprised with 72 dollars gross.
Job's a goodun. Well done on the month's total sales and also a good one on Alamy.
Sorry to hear you are having a hard start to the year, hopefully its all good luck from here on.

Hey Andrew, ripper time lapse over Hobart and a great shot of the plovers. I hope your luck improves and fingers crossed for the event on Sunday!

Those turbine shots on the harbor are awesome, they sell very well especially video. 👌

I had an average downloads of 47 but the earning was very low, only 16 bucks. Have a nice weekend.
Thanks for letting me know Patrick. All the best and hope things pick up for March for you
As far as I understand wirestock is paid option, right?
I don't advocate them since they dropped most of their contributors for the free uploading of assets.

Pond5 just don't tell you when you have made a sale, I have seen a number of my clips on TV that they've not told me about. Very sad
that sounds very strange indeed. sorry to hear that.
You might have to check that box in the account tab, they should be sending you emails with each sale.
yeah. they used to email everytime you have a sale. not now.
I made a dollar. Alamy has pretty much been dead for me. Pond 5 doesn’t seem to have views. Adobe stock gave me a dollar.
Ooh that's painful. I wish you increased sales in the near future.
