- Dutch riot police broke up a pro-Palestinian protest at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) on Wednesday (May 8), battling demonstrators who had vowed to stay put until the institution severed all ties with Israel.
The protesters said the Israeli institutions that the university works with profit from oppression of Palestinians.

This video is just a small part of the violence and vandalism that has occured over several days. Average citizens also live in these barricaded areas.
