I hope they protect the Manzana schoolhouse. I remember a cabin a ways up the canyon from there, too. Were they able to save the Figueroa ranger station?
Politics has destroyed this area. There needs to be organized clearing of debris and clearing overgrowth. It used to be healthy and forested before the environmentalists took over. The dead fall left to rot fomented the rise of destructive species to decimate a healthy forest over the last 30 years.
Earlier this year; Texas- 1 million acres burned!!!! Including 500 homes/ranches and livestock!!! (larger than any fire in CA history) You people have💩 for brains

Our cultural and natural heritage must be looked after. I hope that the visiting residents can be sympathetic to that.
