I'd love to see the filler between the ending and the beginning of Revenge of the Sith. We'd get to see Ashoka still. Just not her Jedi self. Fergil The Fox Um actually it's not and Episode II is Attack of the Clones, not the Clone Wars. Please at least get your shit straight before making stupid comments
+Jacob Noel, you seem to mis-understood my comment, he was saying the CGI Clone wars was better then the prequels, i agree completely however i was simply saying that in the prequels episode 2: the clone wars is still better then the force awakens, so how about YOU get YOUR shit straight before making stupid comments :).
Fergil The Fox what I'm saying is episode II is NOT called "The Clone Wars," it's called "Attack of the Clones." It is also a MUCH worse film than TFA. It has potential to be great, but it is the worst Star Wars film. The Clone Wars is what the prequels SHOULD have been. Now like I said get your shit straight before making yourself look dumb :)
+Kieran Holmes Yeah, Orders was one of the best imo. Mainly because it's sad and is a requirement to understand Order 66. I never understood why the clone troopers would just turn like that. It always bugged me. Thankfully, they made good with Orders. And we get to see the aftermath of that story arc in Rebels.
That arc was perfect until the ending. I'd rather Pong had just been a shitty ractist jedi rather than a mustache twirling fallen jedi. Still my favorite set of episodes in the series.
I would’ve liked to see “Lair of Grevious” as it finally shows how strong of a character the General was. But meh this show had so many great episodes it’s impossible to decide an accurate top 10.
This legitimately was the greatest representation of Star Wars ever. JJ's new envision, the prequels (those actually don't count), Rebels never had a chance, even the OG trilogy never even came close to this story telling and presentation (but don't tell the triggered people below). This had the story, the art, and the presentation. I really wished this carried on instead of the Rebels series. It truly was the shit...
It won't unfortunately, however the shows director did go on to direct Star Wars: Rebels. It's a very different kind of show, not an anthology series for starters but rather a much more focused narrative on 5 main characters and is much more contained and less expansive in scope. I don't think it is as good as TCW, but it is serviceable. The first season centers around new characters (I love Kanan and Zed) and then shows classic characters periodically and then ties back into elements of the Clone Wars in season 2. If you're looking for it to be exactly like TCW then you will probably be disappointed, but if you want a show that isn't afraid to be fun and still has fleshed out characters while further expanding the mythos, I think it is well worth checking out. It's a rough start but it quickly gets pretty good.
Tyler Worsham Yea I watched all the episodes of Star Wars : Rebels so far. It's a great series. They also bring alot of non-canon characters canon such as Admiral Thrawne and sith holocrons and much more. They are doing a great job putting the hype on that series but I wish they could end the Clone Wars much better rather than a rushed end to it.
when during season 1 episode 21? And during "Holocrun heist" at 2:04 Rex says "Grunt" I think the actor was meant to make a grunting sound. Also during "wookiee hunt" at 14:45 you can hear someone cough. Their sound system wasn't good back then.
"Rookies is the first show where they show clones as individuals. " fuck watchmojo the very first episode, ambush did that. Still rookies is one of my favorites
SWCW was really good at bending lines of morality and revealing previously black-and-white decisions and actions to be far more complex and fraught with grey areas.
The only thing though, I thought that “Ghosts of Mortis” or “The wrong Jedi” would take the #1 spot..... “The lawless”was absolutely heartbreaking! Poor obi wan! Obtine shall live on!!!!!
-1 The Lawless -2 Carnage of Krell -3 Massacre -4 Ghosts of Mortis -5 Slaves of the Republic -6 Supply Lines -7 The Wrong Hedi -8 Darkness of Umbara -9 Monster -10 Padawan Lost.
Idk when the clones all rush out the gunships it feels like d day in Star Wars I really like the whole arc though definitely my favorite episodes in the series
lol. TCW fanboy alert!! I love the clone wars, but there was a lot, let me repeat, A LOT of bad episodes! All the Jar Jar episodes. That virus episode in season 1. The episodes about R2 and 3PO going out to buy some fruits to Padmes party... That was just naming a few.
Mines would be where they are underground in Naboo and (can't remember his name) planned on releasing a poisonous gas to the entire Naboo. And I dislike Jar Jar in the entire Clone Wars series, he is so annoying lol
+1993DJC I am so sorry but TCW tops the Prequel Trilogy and Rebels in almost every single way, from the characters themselves to the storylines as a whole; from the textures of the background to the animation of the characters; from the interactions between characters to the development of those characters it was just (ON THE WHOLE) better and no one should say otherwise.
Hondo looked way better in the TCW, Anakin didn't look like "Ken" Barbie doll in the TCW when compared to Rebels, 3PO was GREATLY undetailed in Rebels. Yoda looks more Human in Rebels with a MUCH rounder head when compared to TCW. Background details in Rebels is just lacking in General. I know Disney has a budget, but damn they could make a better attempt with the animation. Some people like gritty.
I SERIOUSLY NEED TO RE-WATCH IT AGAIN! Cause this was one of the few best CN shows that they're allowed to kill characters with violence (I know they're a few shows that showed some deaths, but mostly of them were villains deaths and half of those deaths weren't that shocking for a PG-13 rating)
I was 8 years old when TCW started and it took me to 14. I'm so happy Netflix has the series on right now. At 16 years old I still love going back and rewatching the series!
Grievous Intrigue and Lair of Grievous are really awesome because of how much they delve into his motives, and Massacre finally shows Grievous being able to balance his ego with his wit to make those who underestimate him totally brutalized. Seriously, he blows up an old lady with a rocket launcher. What an overkill.
I love massacre because it's the only episode where Grevious kicks ass. I really hate his fight with ventress though. ffs he has 4 arms, use them aggressively and don't just use all 4 blades to counter.
theyre my favouite cause it actually is about the clones in battle. Not just the story, dont get me wrong, I love the story about the jedi but eventually it gets to be too much talk less fight
The best thing about the show, for me, was how the clones were portrayed as unique individuals with distinct personalities despite being carbon copies of one another.
Kareem Mukayed Funny thing is, I thought Rogue One was an utterly average movie too! Last 30 minutes of the movie were awesome, but the first 2 hours were BORING. And i'm cool with a little lack of action to story build and character develop but they only developed Jyn and Galen. Harldy anyone else got any development. And characters is what makes movies memorable. If there's no development and just action, well then you're probably watching Transformers lol. I'm not a Star Wars hater or anything. I actually love Star Wars alot. I guess that's why I am so passionate when I see my favorite film franchise and extended universe of all time being "pimped" out for a yearly cash grab. If you like it, i'm happy for you, but I was underwhelmed and disapointed
That one shitposter that lives in your fridge Very true, but if you've seen Rogue One, especially a specific scene (not gonna spoil it incase you haven't seen it) then it actually gives me hope that Disney can still do pretty dark things...

Now like I said get your shit straight before making yourself look dumb :)
grevious needed more badass moments
The only moment like that I can think of when he attacks dathomire.
Agreed. Massacre was a top episode. Giving him a much needed victory
Josh Eastham what about when he attacked and killed all the night sisters and what about that part where he crushed a clones face with his foot/arm
Improved Bacon he didn't choke the clone he crushed the clone's face with his foot/hand
He was in the 2003 series
darkness on umbara deserved higher
Oh and Five's death wasn't even an honourable mention :(
+Kieran Holmes Yeah, Orders was one of the best imo. Mainly because it's sad and is a requirement to understand Order 66. I never understood why the clone troopers would just turn like that. It always bugged me. Thankfully, they made good with Orders. And we get to see the aftermath of that story arc in Rebels.
It was a well thought episode
That arc was perfect until the ending. I'd rather Pong had just been a shitty ractist jedi rather than a mustache twirling fallen jedi. Still my favorite set of episodes in the series.
True
I would’ve liked to see “Lair of Grevious” as it finally shows how strong of a character the General was. But meh this show had so many great episodes it’s impossible to decide an accurate top 10.
Grievous was kind of a bitch
i would love a standalone movie about the clones
AirsoftGamer rnt they making a 501st movie?
Or a movie about the special training gree, Bacara and the others got, espiclaly focusing on Rex compared to Cody
AirsoftGamer a stand-alone movie about Fives, now that would just be the best!
How about a Republic Commando movie.
Ya definitely my favourite piece of star wars media
the series started with yoda and ended with yoda and i am going on a star wars clone wars netflix binge
Same here my brother
Yup time for red bulls and lots of pizza
There are more unfinished episodes after that,
+Fernando5455 the bad batch
You're not the only one. And what you say holds a lot of water and it's legit to boot.
Is anybody watching this after season 7 was confirmed at Comic Con. I’m so Hyped!!!
Same bro
Me
I’m watching after season 7 episode 1 came out
"Savage" Opress. Someone didn't watch the series =P
What that is suppose to mean?
Apparently not. If you mispronounce my brothers name, you deal with ME!
back when cartoon network was a thing 😢
It still is a thing it just has crappy shows.
+HistoryLegoCustoms Steven universe isn't half bad
+berto derto regular show is pretty tight too tho
+Brian Newlin They don't play it as much anymore.
Brian Newlin yeah
All of these are better than any episode of Rebels
Except Twilight Of The Apprentice, Siege Of Lothal, Zero Hour and Twin Suns.
SantiagoSkywalker98 even then...the clone wars is better
CiaranPeake98 Of course!!!! :D
I thought the one where Maul teamed up with Hondo's pirates was pretty badass.
this show is far better then the prequels
Yeah.
This made the prequels better, since this show is a prequel
Indeed
That statement doesn't do the show justice, since being better than the prequels is not hard.
***** lol, they will if they want to play it like The Force Awakens, basically remaster the original trilogy.
99.9% of the vid was Maul And Savage xD
Swtcw should come back
it should
Definitely
No it shouldn't. Disney would FK it up.
Rookies is the only episode where they used a profane word.😂
“Hell”
Jonathan Anderson They had one more. Season 1 episode 21.
when during season 1 episode 21? And during "Holocrun heist" at 2:04 Rex says "Grunt" I think the actor was meant to make a grunting sound. Also during "wookiee hunt" at 14:45 you can hear someone cough. Their sound system wasn't good back then.
Natasha De Rosa when windu and 2 of his troops are looking over a battle that previously happened, one says must’ve been a hell of a fight
"Rookies is the first show where they show clones as individuals. " fuck watchmojo the very first episode, ambush did that. Still rookies is one of my favorites
One of the clones said "damn" in the movie
I wanted that one episode where, I forget the name of the clone, but he finds out they have chips in there head that will make them turn on the Jedi.
Familyguyextreme yeah I thought it was either Fives or Echo.
The clone that died was Fives m8
Yeah that was good. That was Fives I think
Fives was my cinnamon apple. (Only because he was second under Rex but still)
+Erik Delgadillo it was fives
when fives finds out order 66 should be number 1 it was emotional and action packed
he was so close to saving the republic. I miss fives
Fives was probably one my favorite characters in SWTCW and made me sangry when he died :, (
SWCW was really good at bending lines of morality and revealing previously black-and-white decisions and actions to be far more complex and fraught with grey areas.
Yes
The Clone Wars>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rebels
True, but Rebels is still becoming a really great show.
***** nah Disney is doing very well, especially with the EU. The comics, novels, and Rebels have been fantastic and coherent
+Noble actually the one I like about rebels was when Asoka vs dearth Vader episode I think final episode of season 2
Agree.
hopefully the show gets better over time
That scene when Anakin goes ham on bariss offee for setting up Ashoka. man was that intense
I cried when Asoka left the order :-)))
Same, but I got it. I mean, WHAT a dick move. Jedi Council = council of dickery
Especially Mace Windu, he was a dick.
Same here.
Clara I-M IKR
I cri every tim
Savage was pronounced wrong every time
but good list
you're trolling right?
+Emre Yanardağ I'm not mad about it I just noticed that every time
+Ryan S (yanmegafan101) Oh i get something wrong I'm sorry don't mind me.
+Emre Yanardağ it's okay
I was expecting the box to be number one but it was only an honorable mention
Evan Robbins same
really? it was good but not that good
Darth Lmr521 Actually it was that good.
Evan Robbins it was a very good episode but really nowhere near as good as some of the episodes at the top of this list.
The only thing though, I thought that “Ghosts of Mortis” or “The wrong Jedi” would take the #1 spot..... “The lawless”was absolutely heartbreaking! Poor obi wan! Obtine shall live on!!!!!
-1 The Lawless
-2 Carnage of Krell
-3 Massacre
-4 Ghosts of Mortis
-5 Slaves of the Republic
-6 Supply Lines
-7 The Wrong Hedi
-8 Darkness of Umbara
-9 Monster
-10 Padawan Lost.
My top Ten
^ This right here
+Sam Brown you like my pics
Instead of "darkness of umbara" I would've chosen "carnage of krell" but otherwise the list seemed pretty on point
Idk when the clones all rush out the gunships it feels like d day in Star Wars I really like the whole arc though definitely my favorite episodes in the series
It's pronounced "savaage" not savage
Time to redo this list. The Phantom Apprentice is definitely the best one ever made!!!
Can we just agree that there wasn't a single bad episode?
nomad droids
Nooo, there are lots of bad episodes. Off the top of my head, the one about poison tea on mandalore is so weird and boring.
epicuni mc How about that the Jar jar episodes?
+The British Entertainer The one Jar Jar episode with Grevious was pretty good.
"What is your favorite episode of The Clone Wars?"
...
...
...
YOU CANT MAKE ME CHOOSE
the way he said Savage is a cringe for me. Doesn't sound right, the way they said in the show was better.
Yup, I don't see why the creator of this list didn't tell him (Watch mojo guy) how to actually pronounce it
fr Taz
The fact that they thought "Savage Opress" was a passable name was even more cringe worthy.
+Leedle Lee lol, you know what, it does sound pretty dumb the more I think of it.
anthuan xverier thanks, I fixed it.
The Phantom Apprentice: Allow me to introduce myself
this didnt age well.
I agree
Those last episodes hit differently
Thank you for at least mentioning The Box, was always my favourite episode
"If you're gonna kill him, do it like a man."
+swarceproducions lol
Me too :D
Same
I loved almost all the episodes protagonized by bounty hunters.
Off the top of my head i think my least favorite episode is the one where Padme gets captured on Naboo and Jar Jar rescues her
Jim Sharp Bombad Jedi... terrible episode
Jim Sharp um you mean Rodia Right though I do hate that episode as well soooooo cringey
Mines would be where they are underground in Naboo and (can't remember his name) planned on releasing a poisonous gas to the entire Naboo. And I dislike Jar Jar in the entire Clone Wars series, he is so annoying lol
By far. FAAAARRRRR the worst. Any episode that has more about politics then war is bad in my opinion
@@Hornet1054 THE BLUE SHADOW WIARUS
CGI SO MUCH BETTER THEN REBELS
TCW, Rebels is CGI too.
+Armin Reindl I said the quality
+1993DJC I am so sorry but TCW tops the Prequel Trilogy and Rebels in almost every single way, from the characters themselves to the storylines as a whole; from the textures of the background to the animation of the characters; from the interactions between characters to the development of those characters it was just (ON THE WHOLE) better and no one should say otherwise.
THAN*
Hondo looked way better in the TCW, Anakin didn't look like "Ken" Barbie doll in the TCW when compared to Rebels, 3PO was GREATLY undetailed in Rebels. Yoda looks more Human in Rebels with a MUCH rounder head when compared to TCW. Background details in Rebels is just lacking in General. I know Disney has a budget, but damn they could make a better attempt with the animation. Some people like gritty.
You may have to remake this one after the siege of mandalore arc
Oh, yeah, that's Darth Bane isn't it? A guy in huge samurai armour who's spirit lives on Morriban. You know, not Korriban, 'Morriban'.
why do they call it morriban is it copyrighted
who the f*ck cares?
canonically it's called "moraband"
Darth Bane was voiced by... Wait for it... MARK HAMILL of all people!
It should be Korriban. That's the original, correct name (sorry Disney).
Watching this list wants me to re watch all the episodes of the show.
Netflix
EVERY. LAST. EPISODE.
Yo I watched that entire series like 5 times
I SERIOUSLY NEED TO RE-WATCH IT AGAIN! Cause this was one of the few best CN shows that they're allowed to kill characters with violence (I know they're a few shows that showed some deaths, but mostly of them were villains deaths and half of those deaths weren't that shocking for a PG-13 rating)
same
No mention of the return to geonosis sadly, which is a shame because Landing at Point Rain is such an action masterpiece
Was just gonna comment about that. It was 3 or 4 parter to retake the planet and the action scenes were amazing
New number order
1. The Phantom Aprentice
2. Old Friends not Forgotten
(And 7×11 and 7×12) probably will join them when they come out)
Star wars the clone wars is what made me become a star wars fan and i think it's way better than the movies.
ramdelure yes
Same I was about 7 when it started
I liked the original 3 movies. The prequels were fine by me. But I would never have become as big a star wars fan if not for this show.
same
I was 8 years old when TCW started and it took me to 14. I'm so happy Netflix has the series on right now. At 16 years old I still love going back and rewatching the series!
It's not that I hate Rebels, I hate when people watch Rebels but never watch Clone Wars.
Agreed. You need to watch both
I have the same feeling.
Yes they really need to now since their bringing in some CW elements
Why dose it matter to u it shouldn't affect ur enjoyment
+kdragonballz It doesn't effect my enjoyment, it's just something that annoys me.
One of my favorite episodes was when General Grievous wiped out the Night Sisters.
You mean 'Massacre'. I loved that episode too.
Oh ya that was one of the best ones. I like the one where Grievous takes Eeth Koth hostage, I believe it's called Grievous Intrudge
+Luke Skywalker same
Grievous Intrigue and Lair of Grievous are really awesome because of how much they delve into his motives, and Massacre finally shows Grievous being able to balance his ego with his wit to make those who underestimate him totally brutalized. Seriously, he blows up an old lady with a rocket launcher. What an overkill.
I love massacre because it's the only episode where Grevious kicks ass. I really hate his fight with ventress though. ffs he has 4 arms, use them aggressively and don't just use all 4 blades to counter.
This is gonna need to be updated after season 7 comes out lol
Brayden Campbell I’m certain most will be season 7 in the updated version
I really really hope they get it right
The last 4 episodes of season 7 will be here
The Umbara arc was the best
Yeah, that one and the retaking of geonosis. Idk why but that is one of my favorite episodes
theyre my favouite cause it actually is about the clones in battle. Not just the story, dont get me wrong, I love the story about the jedi but eventually it gets to be too much talk less fight
Agreed
It was the futuristic D-day
The best thing about the show, for me, was how the clones were portrayed as unique individuals with distinct personalities despite being carbon copies of one another.
I enjoyed that too, but it make Episode 3 even more heartbreaking. 😳
The 3rd movie was one of the best star wars episodes only the 1st and the 2nd were bad.
+Anakin Skywalker I don't necessarily mean the movie but at least the outcome of episode 3.
+Anakin Skywalker Stop bitching around only cause you can't handle a different opinion.
+Anakin Skywalker episode 3 is good
Now gonna get some popcorn.
Disney ending this and starting that God awful show Rebels was a slap in my face. And then TFA on top of that! I'm beginning to despise Disney
Go watch Rogue One, then come back here and tell us all how you changed your mind.
Kareem Mukayed
Funny thing is, I thought Rogue One was an utterly average movie too!
If you like it, i'm happy for you, but I was underwhelmed and disapointed
i hate what disney did with rebels. it's got that disney feel and is no way as dark as what george lucas did with the clone wars
That one shitposter that lives in your fridge Very true, but if you've seen Rogue One, especially a specific scene (not gonna spoil it incase you haven't seen it) then it actually gives me hope that Disney can still do pretty dark things...
Rogue One was darkly epic and awesome. I know what you are talking about!
"Number 8: Monster"
"Number 8: Witches of the Mist
.......
That moment when you thought you have seen all the episodes but are greatly mistaken...
Yeah, a lot of people didn't know about season 6 because it was only released on Netflix. I mean if that's what you mean.
+Silver Lining I saw them on AXN Spin
Silver Lining Are all of the episodes on netflix? I might want to watch through them all from the beginning.
+ZEROs0000 Kisscartoon.me
ZEROs0000 Yes, they are
