I've watched it continously one night all night crying because my dad that I first met at 23 and had my first love to lose him about 10 years later and he didn't tell me his prognosis he in Chicago and I move to Dallas. I think he died I drove all night non stop crying
I think we as people who love to watch reactors, like to connect sometimes, & showing vulnerability with us, does that......thank you for being real & raw with us Thanks!
Most human reaction I've seen to this remarkable song. You can tell a lot about someone's character by how they react to this song. You passed with flying colors.
Its nothing about being a big baby, its just all about being a intelligent and feeling human for family!!! Thank you Enny, you are great! Kisses from Hannover!
Background. James Blunt's father Charles, himself a kidney donor, was diagnosed with stage four chronic kidney disease. Blunt wrote "Monsters" to "express his feelings about his father and his illness, almost as if it's a touching farewell to his father".
I'm so sorry that you lost your Mum and I can truly relate as I lost my beautiful Mum in June and in the past we had our ups and downs but in the end the only thing between us was unconditional love and I hope that I managed to chase some of her monsters away. Do not apologise for reacting the way that you did, anyone who listens to this song and is not moved by it's beauty and raw emotion in my opinion has no heart or soul. Keep doing what you do and don't apologise for being you💗💗💗
Thank you for your post. One thing I noticed about the video was, That James' Father at the end, looks calm and James looks very passionate. I think that is how most people would be. Normally The parents are calm when they leaving and the children are very emotional. Why? We depend on our parents! Then they are gone.
This also caught me off guard; a real shock to my system. Thought of my dad who died in 1981. He was only 53. This was a tough listen. Eyes burn. Glad you thought of your mother. Just lost mine awhile ago. I always hope I'm making them proud.........
I’m so sorry for you loss.. I too have lost my mother a few months ago and my father a few years ago. Your vulnerability is healing to my soul. Thank you
I feel your pain and what you said about things that happened growing up and not talking to mum and all the things you wish you could have done differently , i lost my mum in January to covid and i didnt see it coming and never got the chance to tell my mum how sorry i was for all the bad things i did when i was growing up and how much i appreciated and loved her . I listen to this song nearly every day , i cry a lot so dont worry about your emotions it shows your human please stay safe
Yeah, Miss Enny, your reaction was spiritually-inspiring and your personal comments were felt by all while your thoughts of the video were right on...James was feeling real pain in the song, for his father was indeed dying. James' dad was dying of a kidney disease and with his rare blood type no donor could be found. The video was made as the clock was ticking down in ending his life and that is really James' father who pops in toward the end of the video. The record producers didn't want James to perform this video for they felt it would be too unprofessional. However, in tribute to his ailing dad James insisted and even though he was emotional and did sing out of key a few times, it presented a genuine and heartfelt performance. Your sincere reaction is much appreciated and gives some hope back to an overall uncaring world that indeed...there are those that care for one another...
Just a note to say that because of this video they did find a distant cousin with the same blood type who was a match and donated a kidney, giving his father more time
You are very brave to let your emotions go and just feel the message that he is trying to convey. It takes a strong person to just release your feelings and not care what anyone thinks. I have liked the video and subscribed to your station after just one song, keep up the good work.
Both high ranking officers in the British army. He thought his dad was going to die but he got a emergency kidney transplant and survived. Sorry about your loss x
His stepfather desperately needed a kidney transplant and this was his goodbye song to him...thankfully he has had the transplant and all is good. But even knowing this I still cried, you would not be human if you didn't get emotional to this simply beautiful song..
James is a former british soldier and so isn't afraid of a little ridicule the older man in the video is his real father who was dying of kidney disease at the time, fortunately a kidney donor was later found and he survived
@@Enny_Fash James dad had stage 5 renal failure, they couldnt find a donor at the time so James qrote this for his dad. They only recorded this once its totally unedited as James wanted to show the emotion and pain. Luckily a distant cousin came forward who turned out to be a match. Luckily James father is still with us today.
Thanks to Iam Tongi on Finale of American Idol for singing Monsters By James Blunt. I never would have heard this song as i dont usually watch this anymore. My husband found this song Yesterday. My dad passed 3wks ago May 4th 2023 an im bawling, and I feel this was a sign from my dad to not worry, he is ok. I wish i found this for his funeral for my dad. I know he would have liked it RIP DAD 2-10-56 - 5-4-23

I'm glad he is alive too💖🤗
Not his stepfather but this is his father
It was a kidney transplant not liver, with liver theres no transplant....
If you were prepared your reaction would of been different this was much better you showed your emotions and its ok to cry I know I did!
You’re a great reactor! This was hard for me, too.
Thank you❤️
