I own a 2013 E92 335i & a 2014 I3 and the i3 has to be the best daily I have ever had! I charge it over night and have the little gas engine option you can get. I fill it up with $12 for the week or can run fully electric up to 60-80 miles. Also I can say my car has a carbon fiber chasis hehe
@@revfreak2996 How much do you pay to do routine maintenance on your cars each year? I highly doubt you’re doing it yourself. I bet that offsets the money you save on gas.
@@UltraMagaFanWith just the regular stuff that everyone else deals with? Like tires checked and rotated, one break light I had to replace, and an oil change. That will run you about $350-400 for the whole year. Most peoples BMWs are more reliable than you think unless you intentionally buy a POS 👍🏼
@@jesseag2000 That’s pretty overpriced. As I expected. For me getting my tires checked and rotated is $100, an oil change is $40, and new bulbs for my break lights are $15. Minus the tires, I don’t have the equipment required, I do everything myself. I’m pretty mechanically inclined. I’m not wasting money to pay someone to do it for me.
Didn’t mention the best one. The E39 BMW 540i from 2000-2003.
I was about to comment that as well, but i think the 530i would be a better pick due to the smoother power delivery

@@emreboz1 My one had really good maintenance so it’s doing surprisingly well rn at 140k miles😰. only issue is engine mounts are wearing out. driving wise it def feels pretty heavy compared to a 335i. i have it straight piped (besides cats) so it sounds pretty good but not crazy loud. anything else you wanna know?

I have a 2010 335ix sedan it’s insanely under rated it G force feels like a hell cat off the line and it sounds so freaking good

e36 is great, but more in the sub 5k price Segment. For under 20k I'd get an e30 325 but that's just me
@abcdefghijk depends on where you live. Here in germany they're everywhere and quite cheap. Good luck finding a 350z or s2000 for under 15k though
LOVE THESE LISTS!!! As someone who doesn’t know cars much (only tech generally) these are super helpful. BMW and other brands with meh reliability and high maintenance needs not my first choice but still way helpful

F10 535i love this bmw great n54 engine. Car has over 110k miles and still running strong my pops takes it to tj and back all the time.
328i e92 can be tuned to 400hp reliably now and daily driven

This short increases the brightness of my phone
The i3 gets too much hate! I own one as a daily & have my 2013 E92 335i as a project. It has to be the most perfect car for a commute in the city. I get around 60-80 miles just on the battery and an additional 50 miles on the little gas engine. It’s a little meme car but it’s comfortable to drive, costs me little to nothing a month, and it comes with almost all the features that come in the BMW’s of its year. Give the little egg looking cars a chance!
