    I want to say that I watched your earlier video about "learn Premiere Pro" and used it to start my own video channel after many years of doing other things. I was and am profoundly grateful for that video in getting me up and running on another channel. I'm not a pro by any means but following your instructions allowed me to grow quicker and easier. Thank you.

I don't know if someone complained in the earlier tutorial you did of this, the pre 2021 tutorial, but I'm going back to watch that instead. This is so overwhelming for a newbie, you are cramming it in in 15 minutes and speaking so fast. Slowing down and throwing an extra few minutes on the end would have presented better. How about the yellow line in the timeline that will turn red! when adding effects. something to be concern about?

    • @lilafromyoutube
      @lilafromyoutube  4 роки тому +1

      That means that premiere won't be able to play that back smoothly. If you go to the top menu and then "sequence" and "render effects" of first set in and out point and then "render in and out" (i always do that), it will load a preview for you and you'll see that the line will turn green. However, every time you change something it will turn red again, so be mindful of that!

    There's obviously something wrong with my version of the program. I was able to create a folder and called it a-roll but then when I tried to create another bin, nothing happened. I was only able to create one bin. So so far I can't import and I can't create more than one bin. I'll have to call adobe about it. I was using Corel video studio before this. It was much easier so I think I'll go back to it. I don't like premier.

    • @lilafromyoutube
      @lilafromyoutube  4 роки тому

      I think I know what went wrong. If you create a bin (let's call it Bin 1), that bin is selected. So when you create another bin, it is created inside bin 1. So when you want to create multiple bins, make sure to unselect the bin you just created by clicking on the window or just anywhere else.

    • @RobertKimballartist
      @RobertKimballartist 4 роки тому

      @@lilafromyoutube Ok. ...MAN! Corel videostudio is so much more user friendly. It's just that it is very unstable. It would crash right in the middle of working. Premier is very hard to learn!

    Hi Lila big fan! I wanted to ask if there is any shortcut to stretch movie clips having black bars to 16:9 aspect ratio automatically without having to change the scale everytime for each clip.

    • @lilafromyoutube
      @lilafromyoutube  4 роки тому

      Hi! you can right click on the clip and then click on "set to frame size", although if the black bars are part of the video I'm afraid you will have to rescale it. But you can rescale it once, copy the effect, select all the other clips and then paste the effect once. it should be applied to all the clips now!
