Yeah, I know what you mean. I really enjoyed the production on the album, especially the drums but the live drums definitely pale in comparison. This was over 2 years ago as well and my opinion is only based on a few videos.
She's a good songwriter, and she seems like a cute and (hopefully) nice person, but she can't sing for god's sake, listening her trying to reach the high 5:33 and low 4:39 notes is just painful, because she's a good musician. Worst thing is that she hasn't gotten any better, in fact she stopped singing this exact same song and asked the audience for help on it on a recent (april/may) presentation. I respect her a lot, and her music means a lot to me, but she should really concentrate more on her singing skills.
Adrian TRob thats a weird statement because thats not a plus point for me that should be the standard and all musicians that i listen to dont use playback its the biggest sin for a musician in my opinion
Kevin Parker also sucks singing hahaha, but I prefer this kind of musicians, doing the shit they want, from their hearts and souls, even if they're not perfect at everything. It's better than the pop shit music, with autotune or "perfect" voices with recycled boring music.
wow. I really hope I get to see her live one day.
My dream
Get ready cuz she might go on tour soon with her upcoming album!
I get so mad at pitchfork for never releasing this full set...
they need to do it
Instablaster
Still need to…
This is absolutely gorgeous
I want that sofa!

Me too
Amo a esta banda. Saludos desde Perú 🇵🇪
hey Pitchfork! don´t forget them, u should do a live sessions with them. PLEASE!!!!!!
You Won't Be Missing That Part Of Me. Crystalized. Some Time Alone, Alone.
I'm so happy she listed Jaki Liebezeit as one of her favorite drummers.
Damn, I love crystallized!
i absolutely love this!
I need a full set!!!
Melody likes drummers, Kevin Parkers fits that well
Rip, but they're both doing better now.
Good vibes to her Love Chamber
Never noticed the amazing guitar parts on that first song
Agree, drummer is the most important member.
The way she says production is so cute! Prodooction
they almost sound exactly like the record!
2:48 Runaway, Houses, City, Clouds.
that style of "octave" riff originally came from Dungen - Fredag then Kevin learned it and lifted it ;)

Me gustaria verla por México *u*
Jaziel Rodriguez Ceremoniaa!!!
Tocó en el Ceremonia. El audio fue un asco, su ingeniero de audio se enfermó un día antes, Melody se despidió muy enojada. :/

The mistake has been delated 5:34
sadly. It was a cool one.
@@omahr.carpinteiro ¡Yes, It was wonderful!
What do you mean by "delated mistake"? I am curious.
Their live performances are way better than their studio version! I wish I had been there, but I didn't know anything about good music then.
Niiiccceee video!!

Tame Impala and Melody's band did this fest? Fuckk, do this in the states PLZZZ!!!
de donde puedo obtener específicamente ese sonido cuando empieza el video
Es la canción you wont be missing that part of me

Already uploaded this. What are you doing, pitchfork!?
Worst crowd ever! xP
Awesome song x3
totally!!
Chingon!
Full show ?
nostálgico, puta merda
It would be cool to hear some electronic drums used to better replicate the album. Their live performances seem to stand on their own though.
most of her album has actual live drums, just compressed
Yeah, I know what you mean. I really enjoyed the production on the album, especially the drums but the live drums definitely pale in comparison. This was over 2 years ago as well and my opinion is only based on a few videos.
Mitchell Wheeler well Tame Impala have made an effort this year of recreating the drum sound from the album but it's tough.
horrible crowd
what's the first song?
Crystalized😁
@@jimmybootz1277 are you sure I can't find it in crystalized 0:40
she looks like kevin ayers in 1967.
hilarious
Dime alguna similitud ?
Fuck yo couch! No, really, that's a really cool couch.
So after 2017 she hasn't play live anymore?
Well uh. She went through some health scares lmao

Es la parte instrumental final de "You won't be missing that part of me", pero en otra clave musical.
who else just watches this for the intro
me but what is the name of the song?!
Interesting. They edited this video. She fucks up the start of verse 2 in a fan video of the same performance. Gone here.
That Rick...
she found the right drummer, they just broke up lol
do u know why?
@@gabrielramos9372 personal reasons that weren't shared with the public
Zach Cunningham Because of Sophie, even though Sophie left kevin in the past
@@lysergic992 really?
Que buen tema hizo kevin parker
Ella escribió todo el disco, el ayudó en la producción
melody's microphone volume was too low.
