Awesome project , love the level of detail you're doing! Next to Phil's first arch body sigs, Bela's my fav. I can't wait for the paint details , I'm not going to ask questions and drop any spoilers lol !
I enjoy hearing the level of detail that you used to put this together. Most people don't realize the differences between the various J/C models through the years. I grabbed one of the Jackson SD22JB "Jack Butler" models a few years ago because it also has a rare combination of a full sized "S" body along with a 22 fret neck....which is something that Jackson rarely produces any more. Can't wait to see your final product!
The Black is more recent bc it has the trussrod route. The green one I found on Reverb in the Netherlands. They do pop up from time to time but they are much harder to come by.
@ I compared it to my fender Strats and they seem to be pretty much the same. I think the Charvel may have slightly different curvature but not from the front angle. It’s the neck pocket that you have to be sure will match.
There was also a run of the jackson sd22 from the crossroads movie but it was a pretty expensive guitar and had maple 22fret neck. KNE guitars makes these bodies affordable and you can find a mij 22 fret neck pretty easily off 90s performer models on ebay or even whole guitar pretty cheap

Awesome,i can't wait to see it finished.👍
love it brother, love the content drops highlights the day. Happy new years🎉
Happy new year 👍🏻
Next level detail 👌 I have never noticed the toggles on Bela, the black and black hides it well. Definitely prefer it without them though👍
Nice! I love these kinds of projects! Can't wait to see the final!
Love it- thanks for sharing. I’ll be staying tuned in!

Yes that’s got some awesome specs! I wish it had a Floyd for my tastes.
@@rockinchippy The SD22 "JB" has a top mounted Floyd.
Great video, looking forward to the next part.
The quest. I love it. You’re the real deal.
Thanks 😊
This is one adventure I'm buckled in for!!!!
Looking forward to seeing the final incarnation 🤘🏻
Oh man! This is gonna be fun!
Can't wait to see it once it's done
Thanks Dougie Fresh!
Cool video. I love this stuff! Are the black and green bodies both early 2010’s Pro Mods? How did you find the green one without the truss rod route?

@ are these Charvel Strat bodies smaller than standard Fender bodies? I may use one for my next swirl Partscaster.

I actually bought a body blank but it was the neck joint that was the wildcard.
