Instead of white sugar use brown sugar which has some minerals and natural molasses which also works as natural preservative also add 50 ml vinegar when you add turmeric and salt before pickling it with sugar , vinegar also works as natural preservative , always use natural corn vinegar and not synthetic cooking vinegar , natural cooking vinegar made from corn is less acidic then synthetic cooking vinegar , and is always a better healthy option for us 😊👍 ,
