Man I don't normally enjoy following the car builds and stuff but I absolutely love this thing. You do a fantastic job laying out and organizing your videos. I'm potentially moving into a dealership for the first time ever since being in independent shops and I watch your videos to see what I'm getting myself into! Mcbake sad to see you go man I was enjoying watching you grow into your position!
Thanks man! Yeah this thing is gonna be an insane amount of fun. I’m sure McBake will still be around, but we’ll also get to see some fresh prospective into the channel with our new hires as well
Did you ever get the x3 licensed and insured in ohio? What did you run into there as far as difficulties? Can it go anywhere or are you limited to a certain speed limit?
It seems they are street legal in VA now. People are using them to commute to DC and back on I 95. I really don’t understand why these weren’t legal in the first place. They are so much more safe than trikes, motorcycles and mopeds.
Here in OH it’s legal everywhere except the national highways. However local jurisdictions can still make ordinances to ban them even though the state says they’re legal
Good channel. I just subscribed. Hey man I live in Brookville, Oh. What was the process to get your unit inspected? I was told I had to go to Indian lake.
Also, let me know where you ride...I'll be going to ride one to get my machine...I bought from them before... Great experience there. Gonna plan a trip to Hatfield McCoy...
That’s exactly where I got mine, great group of guys...tell Reece I said hi👍🏻 So far I’ve been taking it on trips to dunes. Gonna try out the one in Springfield here soon. And gonna be taking it up to silver Lake Michigan.
I’ve been followed multiple times, but never pulled over. Always very cautions and don’t do any stupid driving through town. Just have to be weary of local laws. It is still legal for local jurisdictions to have them not be street legal.

I’m in Michigan and having a hard time finding someone to insure them for on road use. Who did you go through ?

Power probe the connector you’ll find the turn signal port.
Did you ever figure out the turn signal wire in dash cluster? Have a 2021 and about to install a road legal kit myself.
xtc is doing a harness right now
Just curious what gauge wire is the license plate bracket so you can extend it?
I believe I used some extra 18 or 20 that I had laying around.
@@RustbeltMechanic thanks man I have some 18 so I’m just gonna use it, it should work even if it is 20.
Excellent video. Did you wind up getting the cluster indicators working? that kit is nice but twice as expensive as others. Subbed.
I did not get it working unfortunately
Loving the Can-Am. Also loving the content coming from it. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Thanks man!!

Where did you get license plate holder?
Pieced it all from aftermarket stuff at Autozone
is the X3 street legal in Ca with this kit?
No clue. You’ll have to check your state and local laws
To bad you didn't put the fang lights for the turn signals to make it a really clean look. 😉😁
Well.....that May be coming in the future as wel😏
That looks like a lot of fun. Are you going to let me drive it?
Good channel. I just subscribed. Hey man I live in Brookville, Oh. What was the process to get your unit inspected? I was told I had to go to Indian lake.
I had an OSP officer at the Piqua post inspect it. I had the form and all already printed out from the State website for a utility vehicle.
@@RustbeltMechanic ok thanks. Do you still get trouble/pulled over from LE.

I'm surprised you need to have a windshield. I would think eye protection would be sufficient just as you need for motorcycles.
You would think so, but I guess it’s just odd laws since it’s considered a “utility vehicle”
What regulations did you follow to make street legal in Ohio ? Fellow Ohioan here.
Regulations list for a UTV on the Ohio bureau of motor vehicle page.
So 4 wheelers definitely can be make legal in Ohio?
Eh...not so much on 4 wheelers... no seatbelts etc
Big burly man with a beard + 172hp utility vehicle running errands in town = America.
195 hp... 🧔🏻
