Oh wow, I agree. If this is where Lee Jung started her career, I could just imagine her standards. No wonder YGX is always so cleann and their musicality is incredible.
Well that's because idols have only one week to prepare within their busy schedule. Just jerk or other professional dance crews dance the whole time and they perfect choreographies because they have more time and that's what they do. we can't expect idols to do the same since they do it for fun.

Yes they do multiple but they do not own anyone of them at a professional level. That is why idols are idols not artists/singers or dancers. Of course there are some expectations like Btob, mamamoo, melody day for vocal, taemin for dancing and idols like rm, mino and suga for rapping (there could be underrated idols that I do not know about) but that's about it. So doing both is not an excuse or a plus if we are being technical. Idols are entertainers and symbols of idealism.

Plenty of groups do contain dancers that are at a professional level but obviously as a whole, they are singers first. I hope you don’t dismiss the fantastic vocals that plenty of idol groups deliver and not just the ones you’ve mentioned. TVXQ, Super Junior, Shinee, Red Velvet, Exo, SNSD, (ignore my bias towards SM groups lmao) Dreamcatcher, Apink, Nu’est, Seventeen, Highlight, etc.
물론 커리어라든지 서왔던 무대의 클라스가 남다르니 그렇게 보일수 있지만 사실 방송에 나와서 준비한 댄스를 다 보여주고 그걸 다 방송해주는게 어느나라도 쉽지 않다는거.. WDC나 미국 메이저 방송사를 제외하고 거의 모든 방송이 우리가 구리게 생각하는 한국 카메라연출정도의 퀄리티도 쫓아가지 못하는걸 기억해야합니다. 제 말은 저 무대가 저스트절크의 품격에 비해 절대적으로 작고 값싸지 않다는게 아니라 현재 국내의 상황이라는 상대적 관점으로 보면 그 가치가 또 다르다는 이야기입니다. KPOP의 부흥에 의해 더 좋은 무대와 카메라연출에 대한 요구가 커질것이기때문에 점차 해결이 될것으로 생각합니다.

I understand what you mean but these guys been had their routine organized. I seen over half in a dance competition they won 2nd in...K tigers also used previous routines as well. Most of the show participants come up with routines within shorter amount of time.
you can't compare expert dancers and choreographers who practice this for weeks to be perfect, with idols who practice 3-4 days before, with their crazy schedule, promotion, performance, CF, write songs, learn their own choreos, prepare their next comeback, they have differents situacion

I watched their performance on Body Rock 2016, and I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR PERFORMANCE. Though this version is shortened and not everyone was as hyped up as the audience from Body Rock, it was still a blessing to see them appear on Hit the Stage.
I hope people down here are not defending their favorites by putting this amazing crew down just because they are professional dance group or whatever. Yeah those idols have only a week etc and I am pretty sure that the invited them to let the others know that effort can bring someone to places and not to put their spirit down or anything. I hope people give this crew some respect because they freaking won first among so many others(this whole performance gave me goosebumps but i would suggest you watching the one where they won first place.) They are kind of the face for korea now in the dancing area.
One of the best dance routine/performance I have ever seen. So creative, so precise, so mesmerizing! It's 2020 and I still felt like I've seen it for the first time. Well done Just Jerk Crew..will always love your group!

That's what happens when professionals make a special appearance. Not saying the people who are competing aren't professionals but these guys train non stop yearly just to dance.
Just because they arent as flashy as some other groups and dacners doesnt mean that they are not top notch professionals, their fluidity and chroreo is amazing and to be able to get everyone to be in sync as they ahve takes tremendous effort, which is why they cannot be compared to idols dancers.

sometimes I don't like how Asian shows are produced (they keep showing people's faces/reactions but I want to see the whole performance including their transitions).. sigh
you can see the whole performance if you look for "just jerk- body rock 2016", also it's like a hundred times better bc it was a competition, I feel like they just gave 60% of themselves compared to the video from body rock 2016.
Usually i don't mind when they show the people's reactions. They usually repeat it though. But for this one they didn't and the reactions kind of annoyed me lol.
It's a terrible movie called Battle of the Year (commercialization of the actual BOTY)... stars chris brown and some others, including US bboys.. Casper, Luigi, Flipz, Do Knock, Kid David, and a bevy of international bboys... Ducky Nauty1, Jo T, Flex, Flying Buddha, Tony Rock... you get the picture... But don't watch it, it's horrible

Some people don’t seem to understand the concept of ‘idols’. Idols are suppose to be multi-talented individuals. They are trained to be able to sing, dance, model, act, speak in a variety of differen’t languages, etc. Dancers like Jerk fully invest their time to dancing specifically. Idols have to insure that they can attain a capability to dance whether they are mediocre or not. So yeah. Don’t compare.

퍼포먼스 영상은 풀 샷 그냥 보여주는게 가장 퍼포먼스를 잘 보여주네요. 댄스대회 카메라는 그냥 풀샷 놔두는데 그게 가장 이들의 퍼포먼스를 잘 보여줘서 처음부터 끝까지 몰입 장난 아니네요. 사이드 짤릴 때마다 몰입도 저하. 탑에서 보인 시점은 신선하고 좋았어요.
영제이와 리정이가 보이네요~~ 지금봐도 역시 입이 떡 벌어지는 무대입니다~!!!!!

Some people don’t seem to understand the concept of ‘idols’. Idols are suppose to be multi-talented individuals. They are trained to be able to sing, dance, model, act, speak in a variety of differen’t languages, etc. Dancers like Jerk fully invest their time to dancing specifically. Idols have to insure that they can attain a capability to dance whether they are mediocre or not. So yeah. Don’t compare.
