Best thing about this channel is that it's vids are compact and clear. I can easily know the acceleration in different gears, the top speed in no more than five minutes , and it even take the weight of the rider into account.
Nice one. Still need a bit more work on the throttle and clutch control to launch from a standstill. This bike is relatively “easy” to launch. If you had pole position on a race track and started that way you’d have been nearly last come turn one. The clutch is heavy and just needs a bit more finesse while keeping the revs up. 👍😎🇦🇺

@@christiannoble5549 meine CBR600F hat 115k und ich fahre damit auf der Rennstrecke ;) In den USA hat einer eine CBR600F mit über 500k km (300k Meilen). Läuft wie neu :)
Crazy how with claimed 61 hp more than your CBR 600 there is only 21 km/h between both... Or the duc is restricted or it doesn t have 170 hp at all!!! Or both! With 10hp less my 2001 GEX 1000 restricted was GPS 288.... and 275 was for my 750 same year with 122 hp at wheel. (never measured for the 1K)
this Duc has neve been ridden that fast. So maybe it lost some power at higher revs. And if I would have had more time to test I guess I could have reached 280.

it was not so easy to start faster :)
@@mototop_ more throttle, less clutch. It needs higher rpms before engaging the friction zone.
Der Tacho hat aber ein sehr hohe abweichung. Ich dachte das 170PS reichen für echte 290kmh oder so.
jo, ich hatte leider nicht so viel Zeit zum Testen und extra Topspeedversuche. Ich glaube 280 wären ohne Probleme drin gewesen.
