just bought mine, chain drive is the way to go, best drive mod I've seen, and I've been watching and planning for weeks. I never did build a go kart. Where can I find that cuff and sprocket set up?
love the speed control box, but the steering seems dicey to me. When you turn your seat right the boat turns left. That may take some getting used too. Is there a way to cross the chains without the constantly rubbing on each other? That way the boat would turn in the direction you are facing.
I ended up going with a longer chain so I could cross them to get the steering correct. Then I scraped the chain idea and went with a belt and pulley system.
The seat and motor control are slick. Nice job.
Great setup! I hope the airCap HR pressure gauge is working well for you. Pressure matters!
With the chain setup, you'll go the opposite way you turn, I think. That is why the bungees are crossed.
Great idea for the steering. What are you using for a battery? Have you got a part number/ name for the pressure gauges?
The brand name is TRiB for the gauge, i see Amazon no longer has them.
I added para cord with springs to allow easy hook up and yes bungee cords will snap to one side etc .

What is the actual name or brand of the pressure gage. Does it inflat like the original?
What happened to the Livingston? I got one I’m about to make some mods to it deck ect. How did the truck bed liner work for you?
