      what's the solution?

    • @anointedi.q.akagnocchi3818
      @anointedi.q.akagnocchi3818 5 років тому +9

      Good point and question: I believe the solution to everything is love and having faith in God; If everyone loved everyone else as God loves us then there would be no division among skin colors and no limitations for the success attainable as humans as a race as a whole, as opposed to the situation and mental level some have been conformed to think of as normal, or acceptable. The affects of love can surpass all issues if love is allowed to. The solution in my oppinion, to ultimatly sum up my response, would be the human will. God's will is righteous and perfect, so the human will is in need of being alined with God's will (living in love and having faith); The solution is the correction of each individuals own free will to allow God's desires to become the desired will of the human's individual's heart's. Solution: everyone love everyone and have faith in God; everyone make the right choices. Pray for the ones who are lost. Focus on God's will for your life. Lead by example. Be the difference you want to see in the world. Just my own personal oppinion.

      Most glaring: How come the tethered seem to mirror the movement of their counterpart at some times, but the rest of the time they have full autonomy? Jason tricked the kid into backing into the fire, but we see numerous examples of the tethered doing their own thing, totally unaffected by their "human" version.

    Within the conversation... you can hear Jordan Peele’s message through both movies in Winston’s points. The message of gentrification in GET OUT and also, the duality of US within not only the black community but the US as a whole. The nuance brought to attention in both movies is genius - I know Jordan is getting a lot of praise, I honestly don’t think it’s enough. As an consumer you can appreciate the picture, as an artist you can appreciate the strokes it took to obtain that picture. Pls don’t let Jordan Peele’s masterpiece go under appreciated, even if you didn’t like it - understand nobody has conveyed the message in this way. MLKs message doesn’t mean the same without Malcolm’s contrast. You cant appreciate Picasso without the contrast of Da Vinci. This is art in its purest.

    Winston really made me see the character Gabe in a different light. I thought he was weak in the movie but I get it now.
    Winston himself appears to be well rounded, intelligent, compassionate, educated man. Good Luck with future endeavors.

      @chrissy christoff so you deny them because theyre biracial? Please tell me how a black president, in government full of white people is supposed to give money to one specific race of people?? You do know our government is a DEMOCRACY, not a DICTATORSHIP. Obama could just make a law without getting it cleared, voted on, and approved by Congress. But I will thank him for the health care and the student loan forgiveness that helped me get of debt from my college loans. And if you think I'm saying their whiteness is why we accept this, then you need glasses and better better reading comprehension skills. And if you care not for Jordan Peele, you obviously don't care for Winston Duke...why are you even here are this Winston Duke interview about the Jordan Peele movie? 😂Those no othet bridges to troll underneath?

    Damn good interview! Loved how Char didn’t care about spoilers, yall had long enough! And Winston made a point about being “big and black” people see that about you & automatically place certain roles on you. You’re supposed to be strong, thuggish so to speak, etc. it’s time to cut that shit out. Also, I LOVED US.... a solid psychological thriller & imma need Lupita to win all the awards
