- What a stunning and wonderful episode. I am so thrilled with what they did with Rick's last episode.
I tried to include everything without triggering any blocks. There was so much to include, this was a tough edit to do.

I wish you guys could've seen my reaction to the movies announcement. I know some of you aren't happy with the idea. But after I was sure I was seeing the last of my favorite character.....getting that news made me cry happy tears. I'm elated. There may have also been jumping up and down and dancing around the room in addition to the happy tears. Maybe.
I am completely with you here. I nearly screamed through my entire apartment after I heard the news. Rick getting his own journey through 3 feature length movies? Hell yes!!!
I was just as relieved as you that Rick survived.
thing is if he can spare 6-9 months away from his family why couldnt he do that for the rest of s9 rather than do 6 episodes. Guess if the movies are by gimple he cant have been the partial reason for him leaving n how Gimple treated Chandler.. Or he sucks it up cos of the money
@Ashley Tornay Yeah, so glad that the helicopter theory was true so that Rick survived.
Don't feel stupid. We all get it. Why else would we watch reaction vids. I appreciate the vulnerable way you put your feelings about the show out there. Love it.
"I'm so sorry for what happened to you."
These words sting even more, now that Scott has passed.
Eh, he said that to Shane, not Hershal
@Toasty I indeed realize that now
Daryl waking away like he Lost every brother he had. This episode got me good.
Rick Grimes is the only character who goes out a hero without dying. 💙
Si Figz I am torn about that and thus this episode. Since Rick is gone from TWD anyway they should have let him die a hero with the bridge explosion.
Also, I believe the Negan Maggie confrontation could have been handled much better. She just changes her mind after such and impassioned talk with Michone, feeling fueled by the Arat kill and Negan initially egging her on reminding her of what he did to Glenn. Makes no sense. They should have just had the person intervene sooner about the camp battle, so she could have been distracted and said we'll deal with Negan later...NO EXCEPTIONS!
Si Figz then he didn’t go out if he didn’t die
You ain't fuckin lyin dog
A H he’s making movies about what he’s been up to in those 6 years so they can’t kill him
Well not anymore
Alright as sad as it is that Rick is leaving the show, this was by far one of the best written episodes ever. I really enjoyed it. The music and everything just amazing.
But he was still alive at the end so maybe he's not leaving at all maybe he'll show up in maybe 2 seasons later
@@ismailelmassaoudi4317
He won't be, what does everyone not understand about "Last episode?" He won't be reappearing in the show, but in the new movies that are to be realsed in 2019.
@Eli I can tell you haven't seen Game of Thrones.
@@okihaveaname That's my favorite TV show lol
@@thatgenericguy6379 but the movies are they after the timejump in the show so will he see judith and everyone else again but years later?
Glenn's last line: "I'll find you"
Rick's last line: "I found them"

Clifford Batteau also the whole Easter egg where rick in the beginning of the series told Morgan I’m trying to find my family
Glenn's last line was "Glub Glub.. Maggie I'm sorryy glub glub"
After his head and face were smashed in.

King Luey jesus dude lmao
King Luey dude do u watch the whole episode of the walking dead or do u just watch scenes?!??!!!?? Cuz it sounds to me u only watch scenes
No one and I mean no one can play Rick like Andrew can.
Got that right.
Its really good to know that who can really understand Rick... lots of people don't get how strong he is... he is also a inspiration to me in many ways
Imagine being so badass you couldn't even die even if you wanted to -Rick Grimes♡
The song they played as rick got taken away was the same at the end of the pilot. The name of the song is “space junk”. Have they been foreshadowing Jadis taking Rick since episode 1? He was taken away in a helicopter ascending to space by a junk lady.
Yes I’m kidding.
Good catch with the song name 👍
Also in the pilot he thought he saw a helicopter in the city.
@@arjoels7437 That helicopter was real, i always though maybe was the one crashed back in season 3, when the gov killed those soldiers?
Its been teased since midway through season 8 at least when he is on the road and he stops and sees the helicopter
I love Sasha, but they would have knocked it out the park if Glen was in her place. "Hey... Dumbass"
Glenn would have been more fitting cause I think that image of Rick standing amongst the pile of dead bodies of his friends is a reference to the alternative cover for issue #100... when Negan killed Glenn
Or Lori.
Seeing the old cast members they all killed it but seeing Scott again as Herschel who was my 2nd favorite character after Rick, that was such a beautiful scene they looked out on.
But Scott Wilson died
You aren’t ready to say good bye to Rick/Andy and you aren’t alone.
rvdfan1978 it’s confirmed Andrew Lincoln is reprising his role in upcoming waking dead movies coming next year
I know we are getting movies with Rick in them. It still sucks that we won’t see him every week on The Walking Dead.
This is why I like TV series better than mainstream movies. You get so emotionally attached to it's characters that when they die or the series comes to an end, it's like you lose a part of yourself too. So I know how you feel. Usually when this happens to me, I watch bloopers of the show and it brings me back to reality. I think this is the sole reason why bloopers exist.
h8tingit well yea that tends to happen when you have reoccurring episodes lol. Can’t get attached to a character after just an hr of watching a movie. Unless it’s something like marvel that’s been going on ten years strong
'You lose a part of yourself too'- this. I feel this WAY too strongly. When Carl died I couldn't watch the following episodes. I jumped the rest of the season and returned straight to season 9. It felt like a family member had died.
They are about to make " mainstream movies " soooooo yeah this is awkward.. guess you wont be watching
@@lordeowstheking Logic must not be your strong suit. Just because I like tv series better than mainstream movies doesn't mean I hate or won't watch mainstream movies. I just tv series better, that's all.
@@bakioftheeast2068 Umm... yeah. This is why I like tv series better? lol
This episode was a ROLLER COASTER. I had a feeling we weren't seeing the last of Rick, since they were being so weird about his departure. However, when Judith says she was Judith, I lost it. I couldn't believe it. Incredible episode.
Rick's story isn't over... I can confirm this 100%
Alperen AYMAN yea they’re making 3 movies with him.
Ya the Judith thing was cool but to take a 6-7year jump off one episode is a bit extreme.
The part I love most about this episode and the one that really got my feelings going was the Hershel (Scott Wilson) scene, it was so good seeing him again one last time, knowing that the actor himself passed not that long ago made it so more emotional. There will never be another Hershel like him or actor, he was the best of the best
I think this is the hardest I’ve ever cried during a walking dead episode! This episode just broke me!😭💔
This and Glenn's death episode 😭
I was sobbing.
me too. every major character death has made me cry but omg my heart was pounding in this one it wasn't healthy lol the ONE thing that keeps the walking dead safe for me to watch is knowing rick won't die they fucked me up with this shit lmao
@@elivicks2742 and 8x09 where it was all about carls final moments
The hardest I cried in a WD episode was when my Glenn died. He was my favorite character.
It's a shame Rick is leaving but I think they book ended his arc fairly well, all things considered, by making it about the family he's found through the story.
Rick wouldn't just abandon his family though. He has to come back someday, even if it is the very end of the show.
He'll be back by the final season whenever that is.
It is a damn Shane.
@Shanna Sweger return of the king
I get people love Rick, he was basically the main character but I really dont like how people say " his the show and with out him you dont have a show" Like Andrew and I bet even Rick would say the show isnt about him its about the family hes made.
The “I found em’” line is one of the best delivered lines I’ve ever heard.
I teared up twice already. Once on my own and another because of you.
don't worry, lovely. you're not the only one who bawled so much. this hurt me so much but it was everything i could've wanted.

Thanks for mentioning how AMAZING Negan was in the scene he had. With all the important stuff for Rick, it's easy to overlook such a phenomenal performance!
I loved how Little Judith Grimes was packing her dad's gun, Michonnes sword and Carl's hat...
I love your love of Rick! I've been so obsessed with him since day 1 and he's also my favorite TV character of all time, just so freaking amazing.
Great reaction love your channel!
Hershel and Rick part was amazing and so touching

@@BrianBigBriJonesMusic they'll start filming the first movie at the end of 2019. Will be out probably half of 2020
Hopefully it is like a Rick Grimes Origin Story or something with him like really young with Lori or with him and baby Carl or something that would be sweet
@@scyosits45-musicvideosande92 No.. that literally makes no sense and no one would even want that anyway since it's before the apocalypse even started, lol. Why would they end it with him leaving on a helicopter for the movies to simply be an origin story..?
Did anyone notice that when rick was in the helicopter that song that played was also the same song that played when rick was in the tank in episode 1
*She's just like me when I see this chapter, I love you Rick Grimes* 😔💔
Even in the dream world Shane is so intense ! Lol loved his character ! Bernthal is fantastic as always
I dont think i've ever wanted a horse to die so much.
Lots of great scenes in this episode! Man that scene with Maggie and Negan in the Cell, that was a surprise. And all the great flashbacks to characters lost. Very moving. Excellent work Greg Nicotero! This, and the last one were really top notch episodes. And that double whammy twist ending! Wow, my jaw just dropped open. What the hell? Crazy.
I don't think anyone actually wanted Rick to die. I've certainly been against it because I consider The Walking Dead story to be the Rick Grimes story. He and the audience woke up in that hospital room together, and we've been exploring this world together ever since. However, there are now major holes in the story. Where is Rick? Is Jadis still with him? Are we not going to see her again, either? The time jump has been six years. You mean to tell me that the ultimate family man has not found a way to get back to his people in six years? That makes him look incompetent. This man literally woke up out of a coma, walked through a post apocalyptic wasteland to find his family. For nine years, Rick Grimes has been driven by love for his family. So, why hasn't he gotten back to his loved ones in six years? They are essentially treating Rick like Heath. They're both just roaming the planet, apparently. I know about the movies. I know that Rick Grimes will continue in another medium, but I'm talking about this show, this story. Rick deserves better than the Heath treatment. And are the Survivors looking for him? Why didn't Jadis tell them that she was taking him to safety? I don't like these many holes, and I especially don't like them if they're surrounding the main protagonist.
DigestiveCeremony you dont know anything brother ! When jadis says she has B she actually makes a deal Rick will be saved but will be like a captive of the helicopter people who needs A and B they are testing for cure . They will completely brainwash Rick brother . Gimple said in first movie we will know what those people did to Rick . Therefore Rick will never return to the series they just want to expand the walking dead universe . Eventually Rick will die brainwashed only with those people in his own trilogy of movies .
@@mayurwankhade8199 um gimple confirmed rick grimes survives all 3 movies
andrew lincoln is back for 3 walking dead movies

Art has always saved me from despair, whether it be painting, acting, books, music or movies. I’m glad to find a kindred spirit in you. Your emotions are not stupid. They never were. You are the ultimate compliment to artists and their art. Keep going.
As Andy said.... was kinda Wizard of Oz.... Courage (Shane), Heart (Hershel), Sasha (Wisdom), Michonne (Home). Awesome interview and awesome reaction. Hugs from Mexico.
Honestly my body didn’t even know how to react!!!! So much terror, sadness, grief, then surprise, happiness and excitement!! Loved your reaction. I’m just so fucking happy he survived.
At that moment Maggie knew she wrong about Rick
I loved every minute of this episode. It had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. And seeing some of the old cast especially Shane. But Judith at the end badass 👍
Impaled, bleeding out, survives a massive explosion and doesn't drown or even get bit in a river full of Walkers. Rick Grimes is a Highlander. Change my mind.
Ah-mazing! Love how invested you've always been in the show, especially when some of us jumped ship awhile back. Reactions like yours have rekindled and maintained my interest.
EDIT: Thank you so much for sharing at the end. You may owe a lot to Andrew Lincoln, but just know that we owe a lot to you for starting your channel.
My favourite twd episodes

This was an amazing episode, I did not expect anything that happened and I am VERY emotionally shaken by the whole experience
Brilliant video! That yelp of pure surprise and joy was amazing! 😂
This was by far the BEST character exit. Bravo, walking dead writers. You gave the hero of the zombie apocalypse, an EXCELLENT exit. You let Rick do what we loved him doing, for the past 9yrs. LIKE A BOSS. I cried through the whole episode. RIP Rick Grimes.
On another note, I laughed my ass off when Shane asked how his baby was doing. OMG!!
Did anyone believe for one second, Negan was being truthful, or did he grab something to use to escape, when Maggie threw him up against the wall? I honestly believe it was all for show. We all know that at this point, anyone will do what they need to do, to survive. We shall see.
And last, but certainly, not least. We now know that it will be an older Judith, instead of Carl (like the comic book) telling the tale about the zombie apocalypse.
Damn love your emotional reactions! Real and devastated! Plot twists in this episode made it to one of my top faves! Gives YOU a hug, cuz we could all use one ! Keep on doing what you do!
"You die like a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"

Don't worry walking dead fans around the world Rick is still alive we just don't know where he went but hes alive in the show and that's all that matters like Rick once said we keep surviving and that's what I'll do WHO'S WITH MEEEEE🇺🇸
Loved your reaction! It was the best and most genuine I've seen so far. Awesome video! Thanks for posting! 👍💯
The episode was a masterpiece of modern-day storytelling drama TV. They really outdid themselves.
Well done Angela 👏
I think it should been Glenn at the bridge and not Michionne to tell Rick to get up. A cameo by Steven Yeun would have been so emotional and just right given how this is the end for the old TWD and the start of a new one.
Sammy Lane Steven Yeun has said. He would never be coming back!
SMOkoro What happened that he wouldn’t want to come back, like in maybe a flashback? Just curious.
Yeah they should kiss
I love this woman lmao. I felt every emotion. So excited for what comes next, and happy that Rick is missing but not gone. An inevitable reunion to look forward to.
i get the emotion...i started this show through my pregnancy watching this show, feeling somewhat iscolated(also started watching in 4th season, watched the 1-3rd season marathon before 4th season)...was stuck in a small town while my husband worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week and we shared 1 car...and we recently got cable....so it got me through bored and lonely times....it got me through how hard breastfeeding/pumping was having to sit there long period of time. It was the first drama show i got emotional and attached too(before TWD i didnt get how people were so obsessed with fictional characters, like my mom when she use to watch soap operas when i was a kid)...my mom and I never really bonded much before, after we started bonding more when i got older we started to bond a lot more after i got pregnant, i told her how awesome the show was and she started watching and every year since she records the show so we can bond together(i mean i see her other times too not just to watch with her, i watch at home first anyway)but i will come over for few hours each visit and we binge watch a few episodes together each visit..the show brought my mom and I closer together...other than that, ive never seen acting like i do on this show and just everything especially the characters/actors especially Andrew Lincoln got me attached since 2012 and yes all though fictional, ive been with them for 6 years, it feels like losing a loved one when one dies or leaves...and Rick is amazing..i dont want him gone or the show to end, its not just a show, its a ritual, a bonding moment with family/friends, fandom, a hobby and a passion(collecting, conventions, clothes, goals for vacation in georgia, etc)...so yes I get you. you arent alone.
I'm hurting so much after this episode. Well done writers! Were all going to be OK guys, were all Rick Grimes!
Oddly...at least partly...the parts that REALLY made made my eye ducts leak were seeing Hershel again and seeing Daryl tearing up. When Daryl cries you know sumthin' baaaaaaaaaad has happened. It was a very good emotional episode. And by the way...you don't have to be ashamed of your feelings. It's great to see someone with a sweet heart who actually feels and shows it. Kudos! :)

Good job on having the confidence to tell us all this and we will all look forward to the movies that they are going to do. Crazy tought actually, movies about Rick Grimes. Anyway. Great reaction and i hope you feel better 🙂
I had a couple of brief tears watching the episode, but watching you made me truly cry. 😆
In case you didn’t know, it’s been confirmed that there will be a trilogy of big budget movies about Rick and what happened after he was rescued. Rick will be back for these movies, just not the main show.
I've always been a silent viewer of all your videos. Just wanted to say thank you for your passion towards this show. I started watching this in the beginning with a special someone who I've lost along the way and hasn't been the same. But like you said, TWD has been the one constant in a changing world over many years, and Rick Grimes is a figure that stands above all others. Keep at this, please. Your love for this show should be shared with the world. All the best. Thank you.
OMG your reaction and heartfelt comments at the end teared me up. *hugs*
See you again Rick
While may I say what a wonderful video you just made! It takes a very strong-willed and courageous person to do what you're doing. And don't ever be sorry about anything you're putting yourself out there is enough and if people can't accept that they can just move on. And thank you Rick Grimes for all these wonderful years you have given us #RIckSTRONG
Thank you for bearing your soul at the end of this video. You made me tear up all over again. LOL
Don't feel foolish! I really appreciate the things you say!
I honestly have to tell you that your UA-cam reactions have helped save a chunk of MY sanity... so thank YOU for sharing your genuine heart with us!
I’m suing amc for emotional damages, lol.
OMG Jessica you had my tears rolling along with yours - like I knew you would, haha. On my own watch of the episode, I KINDA' held it together until the Hershel Scene. That smashed me and I was pretty much wrecked after that. After the explosion the blackness was so deep that I'm pretty sure the only thing that would'a stopped some fans from ending it all was seeing Rick getting medical care. Whew.
AND THEN that JAW-DROPPING ENDING! I mean srsly I'm a vet of two branches of the military and I still gotta say I made prettymuch the same sound you did when our new Little Queen introduced herself, lol.
You and I had the same reaction to "grown up" Judith *YES QUEEN!!!*
I've said this before but I love how honest and entertaining your reactions are. I don't get why people get angry at those of us that love fictional characters and worlds, for many of us it's an escape from reality. They might not be real but the heart that's put into them is and that's why we love them so much. The real world can be a shit place at times and it's nice to have something that makes us happy/inspired. I'm so glad he didn't die!
thank you for sharing the episode I just moved and I don't have my cable right now I appreciate watching it I feel like I've watched the whole thing
Oh - and a round of applause for our beloved hostess 💝 Another awesome react - and you DID manage to include a lot of the show. Well done 👏🤗
Rick's first words: I'm looking for my family
Rick's last words: I found them
Just like you Jess, I am also super excited about these movies. I was watching Pollyanna McIntosh being interviewed by news journalist Sam Rubin this morning in which he said there will be 3 movies in the works for TWD. Yes! Let's expand this world cuz I've been waiting for it. Even though they said they're done with Rick Grimes on the show, his story will continue to live on. Heck yes! I LOVE RICK GRIMES! Loved seeing his journey and the people he's come across with, he is a true warrior, never gave up on his people and always tried his best to find other ways of going about doing things and tried to keep his humanity intact for himself and his people. I was sad thinking he was gonna die, but that ending made me so freaking happy, I was at peace with that. Andrew Lincoln is a total BADASS. He MIGHT never come back but at least that possibility of him making a surprising return isn't thrown out the window. Our Rick is somewhere out there ALIVE and SURVIVING. My wish is that at the end of the series, Rick brings with him an actual army ready to help him save his friends and family and take them to safety. That's what I want. Can't wait for these movies to come out.

I was legit surprised that they DIDN'T kill Rick off. I went into this episode completely expecting it and they managed to subvert my expectations.

You aren't alone. It's not stupid. I totally understand the attachment that you feel and that you're proud of yourself today because of Rick. I don't feel that same way with him, but I do with the Twelth Doctor. He's my absolute favorite character and I love him. He's been there for some of my biggest life challenges. He was there when I started college and almost lasted all the way through it, and was there when I was trying to figure out what kind of person I really wanted to be. I'm a better person because of him, because his message of kindness and decency and hope in humanity has become a part of me. He serves as a comfort but also as a moral guide in a way. Long story short, totally get where you're coming from.
I love this comment, I've told a bunch of people I was upset that Rick was leaving up to the episode, and they are like why? They thought it was so dumb I was feeling that way. Now I don't feel so dumb... Thanks
Thank you for sharing yourself with us. You are not alone, and it is so very brave to record yourself and bare your soul. I can’t do it 😸 and I’ve served in the Marine corps! People can be brutal 🤨 anyway keep up the great work 👍🏾
The Herschel scene was especially heartbreaking because Scott Wilson had died not long before this episode aired.
It's not stupid. Anyone that follows you even if briefly can see you have a kind heart and you should be proud because I think we are all proud of you.
sseskasays this is by far your best reaction video I've seen. 👌
It makes sense now at the Comic Con when Andrew Lincoln said "My relationship with Rick Grimes is far from over." What a relief to see how it played out for his final episode (by far the best episode). Thank you, Andrew Lincoln! Hope to see you return in the near future after you finish TWD movies. 👌
This episode tore me apart and equally put me back together
Oh my god your reaction was literally mine when he “died” and when he was saved. I haven’t cried like that since Lori, Hershel and Andrea died
THIS EPISODE IS THE THE BEST FOR EVER IN THE SEASON 9 HERSHEL 😭💯💯
Rick is my favorite character and, quite frankly, since Season 7, aside from a few episodes, I didn't see enough of Rick and the core group. Our group was and is, to me, too splintered. Folks are saying TWD has a "new" feel to it. Well, for me, it is now Beyond TWD, because TWD ended for me when Rick left. I struggled through S8 and have not watched any of S9. I was missing TWD, so I decided to look at some of the earlier season Skybound reaction videos when the "family" was together. I always liked your reactions, so I just stopped by to read a few comments regarding Rick's exit. …. PEACE to YOU.
Did you notice when the Helicopter was flying in the distance, their were 3 trees close to the camera and it did a transition and the same trees had doubled in size and one larger but fallen over, which was the subtle que of the time jump when it showed Magna's group right after.
I didn't catch it until my 2nd viewing. Noticed that your video showed the transition scene so figured I would mention it.
