Kids are taught the goals of their parents. But that doesn't work because parents are a different generation. You have to create your own goals based on the realistic possibilities of the time you live in. You may have to get used to being lonely. Guys who are non-social to begin with have an advantage. Social media makes us compare ourselves to unrealistic standards, which can make us feel miserable, even though our lives are much like anyone else's. It’s sad because there are many kind and loyal people out there, but because of a few bad experiences, we often start to believe that most people are unkind.
