I watched this anime with my deceased boyfriend. He loved this anime. Not sure if I can watch it again. I miss him so much. This year will be 2 years since I lost him in a car-wreck. I hope one day I can watch this wonderful anime and smile ❤

Kikyo, the saddest character in the story. Atleast Inuyasha has Kagome, but Kikyo just died and was brought back from the dead to even felt more hatred and sadness. But still, she was able to stick to her core of helping people despite of her status. Truly a legend.
kagome carries within her kikyo's soul. in a sense that was kikyo's way of overcoming what naraku did to both her and inuyasha. her soul was saved and reincarnated as a normal woman just as she wished and her soul as kagome now IS WITH INUYASHA. Although she suffered a lot she did get her happy ending in a complicated yet beautiful manner.
I miss Inuyasha so much. Years and years had passed and whenever I hear a music/lullaby/melody this anime has, the nostalgia takes me back through remembering the good feeling the old days had. This anime will always have a special place in my heart.

I love Kikyo, even before and after she died, before and after she met Inuyasha. I love her even she became the villain or not. I love her even if she was misunderstood or not. I love her if she's toxic or selfish. I dunno, i just love her. There's something in her that is sad and peaceful at the same time. I felt her need of belongingness even to only just one person. I felt like she's been so lonely. For me, her faults and flaws are perfect. That even if she's the most hated person in the world, i would still love her and understand her. There's something more about her that i cannot discipher. She was and always be my perfect and fave character in Inuyasha. If she only existed in real life, i would never leave by her side, even after 50 yrs or so. 'Cause despite of everything, she only wanted to love and be loved. kagome is kikyo's reincarnation so i always see them as the same person '-') uhmmm.....i think that Kagome is the person that Kikyo would become if she was born as a normal girl without having to carry the huge responsibility like she has in the movie :(

for some reason, Inuyasha is as old as Naruto and One Piece but it has less attention from the anime fans, let's appreciate those who knows this anime and it's beautifulness. We are lucky to ever encounter such masterpiece to exist. From the plot, the art style, the overall production and each of its songs. Truly a gem to be recognized. I have so many history with Inuyasha from my childhood that this anime hold an importance place in my heart as adult.
This song is full of nostalgia for me and now that I'm older my child enjoys it as well. I used to listen to anime ending songs to relax and I notice my daughter could not sleep without this song. Even now she will ask me to listen to this before bed :-)
No memory of my life would top when I woke up randomly one night when I was 9 and saw Inuyasha for the first time. The scene was when Kikyo had Kagome wrapped up in her soul collectors. I was immedietaly overwhelmed and intrigued with the show. I watched it everyday it was on adult swim after that. Even when they moved the airing time to 4am, I stayed up and watched it. This show will forever be in my heart. I love inuyasha and Kagome so freaking much.
Yesterday I finished to see whole Inuyasha's serie. Wonderful, I'm feeling so bad , it evokes inside me a lot of beautiful and nostalgic vibes, indescribable. So proud to have given it space in my life to see it.

I used to love this music but the last time I saw my grandpa me and my sister spent a week at his house and I tried to stay up to watch Inuyasha but always woke up during Fukai Mori or Every Heart. I was about 10 at the time. That was the last time I saw him now I associate Inuyasha's OSTs with that time in my life. I'm 26 now and it's all I think about. Waking up on his sofa, the TV having been on all night. Kikyo's theme playing or Sesshomaru looking at his father's tomb in the credits. The toilet tissue all over the floor from when I had a cold. His heavy glass of bourbon on the table next to his Virginia Slims.... it was nice. I'd do anything to go back... thanks for the upload. My heart hurts but it's worth it.

I submerged my self in feudal japan and of course the romance.. when I turned 11 my mom was home and would tape record the episodes I would miss during testing and late nights.. Rewatching Inuyasha, I realized that Kikyo really yearned for him even after death. Kaede stated in ep.147-148 of the anime series that instead of using the sacred arrow to eliminate inuyasha, she used the arrow to seal instead. She also pinned him on the sacred tree which she knows could transcend time. Could it be that she wished upon the shikon jewel to be reborn as a normal woman and live with inuyasha? Was her wish the reason why Kagome is born hundreds of years later? But they say that the Shikon Jewel doesn’t grant you your wish, is it also possible that maybe Kagome really is not a reincarnation of Kikyo? Maybe she’s just another powerful human who happened to have the Shikon Jewel embedded in her? Did Kikyo go through the same experience when Kagome was inside the Shikon Jewel or was she not powerful enough to battle the demons inside? Or maybe she wasn’t able to go through the same because she was really fated to die? Uggghhh. I have so many questions!!! Rewatching this anime is never boring. It makes you think of so many possibilities, questions and answers.
I'd like to think the second thought is true. It was verified that Kagome was Kikiyo's reincarnation when Kikiyo was being brought back from the dead. Her soul resided in Kagome and had to have pieces torn from her to give Kikiyo any semblance of her person back. Really cool though, I hadn't thought of that possibility before, that becoming Kagome could have been her wish in that moment. It really is like their souls just want to be together. Also so excited for the continuation of the series!!!

Kagome is one of my all time favorite characters, I just love her attitude and how she deals with stuff. When I hear the songs in this video or just see a picture of Kikiyo it feels like my heart is breaking for her.

I used to love this music but the last time I saw my grandpa me and my sister spent a week at his house and I tried to stay up to watch Inuyasha but always woke up during Fukai Mori or Every Heart. I was about 10 at the time. That was the last time I saw him now I associate Inuyasha's OSTs with that time in my life. I'm 26 now and it's all I think about. Waking up on his sofa, the TV having been on all night. Kikyo's theme playing or Sesshomaru looking at his father's tomb in the credits. The toilet tissue all over the floor from when I had a cold. His heavy glass of bourbon on the table next to his Virginia Slims.... it was nice. I'd do anything to go back... thanks for the upload. My heart hurts but it's worth it.

Cada vez que veo el anime y leo el manga... Lloró.. Ese es amor sin condiciones y puro... ;0;
Siiii ese es amor real!! Kagome lo amaba a pesar de que sabia que InuYasha habia decidido estar con alguien mas. Y deseo permanecer a su lado a pesar del dolor que esto representaba para ella porque era mas su deseo de estar junto a el.

The first true love of anime!! My mom was in prison I was about 9.. I submerged my self in feudal japan and of course the romance.. when I turned 11 my mom was home and would tape record the episodes I would miss during testing and late nights.. This anime is beyond special to me and always will be .. I love you Inuyasha
Rewatching Inuyasha, I realized that Kikyo really yearned for him even after death. Kaede stated in ep.147-148 of the anime series that instead of using the sacred arrow to eliminate inuyasha, she used the arrow to seal instead. She also pinned him on the sacred tree which she knows could transcend time.
Could it be that she wished upon the shikon jewel to be reborn as a normal woman and live with inuyasha? Was her wish the reason why Kagome is born hundreds of years later?
But they say that the Shikon Jewel doesn’t grant you your wish, is it also possible that maybe Kagome really is not a reincarnation of Kikyo? Maybe she’s just another powerful human who happened to have the Shikon Jewel embedded in her? Did Kikyo go through the same experience when Kagome was inside the Shikon Jewel or was she not powerful enough to battle the demons inside? Or maybe she wasn’t able to go through the same because she was really fated to die? Uggghhh. I have so many questions!!! Rewatching this anime is never boring. It makes you think of so many possibilities, questions and answers.
I'd like to think the second thought is true. It was verified that Kagome was Kikiyo's reincarnation when Kikiyo was being brought back from the dead. Her soul resided in Kagome and had to have pieces torn from her to give Kikiyo any semblance of her person back. Really cool though, I hadn't thought of that possibility before, that becoming Kagome could have been her wish in that moment. It really is like their souls just want to be together. Also so excited for the continuation of the series!!!

@@polaj.94 Well they definitely are separate, their personalities are just about completely different. And they managed to both live at the same time by pulling the soul in two.
Kagome is one of my all time favorite characters, I just love her attitude and how she deals with stuff. When I hear the songs in this video or just see a picture of Kikiyo it feels like my heart is breaking for her.
