Is RME Firenet going to have a unit to replace the year old RME UFX III? When will you be getting the M-1620 Pro? I like to pair it with my UFX III. It appears the M-1620 Pro does not come with a MADI module equipped?

The M-1620 Pro converts 16 analog line levels to and from digital - sources can be separate Coax and SFP MADI, ADAT, or AVB (Dante in case of M-1620 Pro D).

I would love to see a 24 i/o with option cards so I can upgrade to Dante & AVB when needed. Also an AVB switch would be useful.

Will it have a aes3 out?
Will TotalMix include reverb etc or will to be stripped like the digiface Dante?

The Firenet is basically an now legacy AVB tool but with the option for Dante.
