  • Take a walk around the various aspects of the Timucuan Park, named after the indigenous tribe that inhabited the northeast portion of Florida around Jacksonville. The majority of this video will focus around the Kingsley Plantation, a late 1700's plantation eventually run by the black wife of the white owner, who, yes, ran a slave plantation. Other portions of the park, including the Ribault Column and Fort Caroline are shown, but will be the focus of another video. Music, negro spirituals Good News, If I Had My Way, and I am No Ways Tired, courtesy of the Library of Congress.
