Thank you for posting the link to directions (which contain a link to the plans). I recommend using pressure-treated lumber. Also, did you use waterproof glue? I like Titebond III for projects such as this.
mark2talk2u I was not planning on letting it stand in the rain. So I did not use waterproof glue for this. But in hindsight, it would certainly make sense to do so.
MECANAUTES hi there, I currently don’t have any plans online. I need to check if I can put them online. I have the feeling I need to clean them up a bit :-)
Hi MECANAUTES, I've found some time this evening and had a look at my 3d model. You're lucky, I had some drawings and these were mostly usable :-) I've adjusted some small parts and added material list. You find the plans on the article page at the bottom: i-make.xyz/projects/2018/10/07/building-a-wooden-hammock-stand.html
@@imakexyz4968 wow, thank you very much for the plans, exactly what I needed. I look forward for your other projects! We need more people like you in the maker community.
@@mecanautes I'm using Fusion360 (the free edition). If I remember it correctly this was one of my first project to use this software. Before I was working with SketchUp. But I like Fusion better. But as you seen there are some strange measurements in the plan, this is because I was not yet so proficient with the CAD software.
i think you should be building a gym instead mate...:-)) here's a tip for more viewers..(if that's your goal) don't try and copy the big budget camera angle fancy shots..keep it simple and put some steps by step info in..
TheUrantia001 😃 na a gym implies that I do a workout. The problem with tutorial videos is that it needs a lot more planning before shooting the video. Thanks for the feedback.
Muy Buena, es justo lo que estaba buscando!!! Gracias por compartir. Saludos desde Argentina.
nice and clean job

Hi, awesome build, I like your transportable design. I've searched on your site yet not found, where can I find the plans? Thanks

@@imakexyz4968 Also, I wonder, what software do you use to make the 3D renders and plans you showed in the video and pdf? They're really high quality.

All you did was some camera angles. You didn't explain a damn thing lol
