Hi!
Thank you so much for your videos. It s very instructive. I m beginner in the area. I m living in a tropical area in the Indian Ocean next to Madagascar on french island ( reunion Island) and I have to say that we don t have a lot of video or specific videos like you do about fig. I plant my fig trees directly in my small yard and I want to keep them small. So your video about pinching and pruning help a lot. For now I have one local variety from my parents, one noire de caromb and one précoce de dalmatie.

Thankyou so much for the info on pinching. I tried this pinching abt a fortnight or so on my fig tree and it has now started to show up some tiny till figs for the 1st time.
I wanted to let you know I pinched my fig tree a week ago and I see baby figs🥳. This is the first year for fruit for this tree. Thank you so much! I’m in Cali and I’m going to take your advice to pinch my trees to increase my yield - I already see the “fruit” of doing this😂. Blessings!
So Amazing tricks! I want to try pinching. Thank you for your sharing and always success. 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🇲🇨
When I pinched my fig trees last summer for brunching purposes I noticed the spring by April 1 we had many breeders on the branches that I pinched so that works out that way too by the way I’m in zone 9A here in Victoria BC but we got a mild winter but a very cool summer so Abreva’s are probably the main crop here
Sorry for the dictation errors 😅
My Osborm prolific is a starter of this year and already has 4 figlets ;)
Ross, thank you for all your great information. I pinched my four-year old tree on June 4th of this year after watching one of your other videos. I now have new babies all over! What do you do with your breba figs? I have one that is huge.
I eat them!
Very nice, great , thank you.
Hello Ross, I'm appreciating your videos,,thanks. I live in San Diego County (Escondido) small space so have figs in pots. Have a Desert King and a young Tiger Stripe Panache, need to keep them small for easy of harvest too, I've been watching a lot of videos to get clear on pruning plan,,,, any advice? Prune to 18inches then encourage bowl shape of primary branches, so in dormancy will prune to keep those same bowl branches only? the next season what grows from them will be what develops fruit right? Thanks for help.
i have about 40 marble size figs on one tree and 50 marble size figs on another, what can I do to make the size of the figs bigger? thanks
Why do you bag the figs on the tree? Tks
Thanks for another episode of "Pointing at Figs"..
I tried your pinching technique in early July and all i got is new leaf growth at each bud union. Dont know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to get my Celeste to fruit.
perhaps talk about the fact that pinching may cause fruiting but if you don't have the heat at the right time figs will NOT swell
Switch of took to long to tell me what to do
If yes say me the cost of the variegated fig
your telling me there if i do that in my 4 year old black Turkey fig ill get figs for the first time 😳?
How big/tall the plant should be for pruning?
nice 👍
Great video
Ross can u ship fig cuttings to india
What pinching research paper was it?
Hi. Here's a noob question... 😊 When the branch produces fruit, does it produce fruit again later on or is that it for that branch?
You need new nodes to get another fruit.
Can you pinch them now or is it too late?
It's not too late. 90-100 days after pinching you will get ripe figs. Hopefully you don't have frost by then.
Itu Tin jenis apa ya?
Fig plant can grow in a small pot
More water get more pollination instead of growth
New subscriber! Do you know anything about the fig trees from Bornholm in Denmark?
Yup. It's what we call English Brown Turkey.
Show us how to. Don’t just and bla and bla..
