Tennessee Day 4 - Slate Rock, Cabin, Sand Cave, Childers Gap, and Elk Viewing Area

We started the day off at No Business waterfall. Next we went to slate rock so one of the X3's could try and climb the rock, which turned out to be uneventful. We then headed to the cabin and then to McClean Overlook for a view and some pictures. The Sand Cave was next which was unbelievable. The cave was huge and the journey to it was rough as expected. Next we all went down Stone Face and 2 in our group went up Stone Face to prove they could make it, which they both did. After that we headed to the 4 way and Childers Gap. After Childers Gap we headed to the Elk Viewing Tower to view the elk which we timed perfectly at dusk and saw 16 elk to close out the day. It was the perfect end to the day seeing the elk feeding in the field.
