- We spent 24 hours in the 12th arrondissement. Here’s what we found.
This video shows a walk through the Marché d’Aligre and then onto the Coulée Verte (elevated walkway). The audio is an Earful Tower podcast episode from the Paris Countdown season, where hosts Oliver and Lina spent 24 hours in each Paris arrondissement.
This season's sponsor @LivTours offers more than 30 tours and experiences in and around Paris. Their tour groups are small - max 6 people - or private and their guides are top-rated. They cover everything from the Pere Lachaise Cemetery to food tours of the Marais, but even day trips to Versailles, Giverny, and Champagne.

Hello from Canada
Hello guys, thanks for the tour!
Would love to see episode on Vincennes
Good idea!
Hi from the 3e
Hello from Washington DC.
Hello from New Orleans - MT and Jim T.
Do you have a favorite food hall in Paris?
Le Train Bleu?
yep
kind of found this frustrating to watch - I wanted to know what I was seeing and hear the noise of the streets. My wonder about the things I was seeing over took your 12th review. Love your podcast but this was frustrating to watch!
Thanks for the feedback. The idea is that it’s meant to be a livelier way to share a podcast on UA-cam rather than solely audio
The 'marché d'Aligre ' is the oldest market in Paris. The 'rights' to organse a market on the grounds of the 'former' Saint Anthony Abbey ( now à hospital) were given in the 12th(?) century or something.
Allways stayed at the same spot.
Delicious good; very good products and (in general) friendly people.
Be carefull with the fruit/vegetable salesmen in the street ! ( Had some disappointing expériences with them. Usually you pick your fruit and put it in a paper bag; then you give it to them to be weighed...and as soon as you turn your back....they can add an extra orange or apple in the bag !!!😂)
So be carefull.
The inside market is perfect.
The antics part isn't the high-standart kind like St Ouen or Vanves. It's more vintage objects and funny trash.
But I found some very nice things there.
Thank you @TheEarfulTower .
I live nearby Alligre since 20 years. ❤
