The original owners were my grandparents. The older gentleman at the end of the segment with the cool jade bolo tie was him. It was nice of the new owners to bring him in after he had sold it to them. Best fried chicken ever - luckily I have the secret recipe!
Oh My..... this does go a ways back. I remember eating there with my grandparents back in the mid-to late "50's.... ( i think) I was about 10 or so, maybe even later in earlier '60's.... that I don't remember so much but heck, I'm getting close to 75 myself, good food I'll never forget.
