Another fun fact: companions (not dogsmeat) actually have infinite carry weight you just have to *order* them to pick something up and they’ll do it regardless of how heavy they are👍🏽
The only stipulation is they need to have the carry weight available from the last time you "traded" items with them. I've tried after loading one up to the brim before and they just didn't pick the item(s) up when ordered.
No they dont ive loaded them up to the brim and then topped off all the free weight woth ammo. They pick it up regardles. You jist need to get gud @brownsnake0400
Pro tip: just put all the junk in any container or body you come across and send your companion inspect it multiple times. There you have it... Infinite carrying capacity.

And then you’re pushing the shopping cart, right before you arrive at your destination bethesdas wonderful physics engine decides to kick in full bore and launch the most useful items into oblivion just so you can stare at the pipe pistol as your only prize…
Then why put the weapons that you want in the shopping cart? Just put all the trash/for sale items in the cart so you don't have to care if it gets bethesda'd.
You can also usenit to just carry one more really heavy thing, if you can hold that one single item JUUUUSY long enough to drop all your junk in a workshop you'll be Gucci Or at least long enough to get it into a container if you can fast travel right back after

I was picture it glitching out and the guns starting to twitch around, while hearing the classic items twitching while being stuck in the wall or floor, and just constantly hearing that, y’all know what I mean.
This is what I love about fallout is that I wholeheartedly believe this could be cannon. Seeing someone overloaded with loot carrying a shopping cart to carry even more loot just seems like something you’d see in the series
I usually tell my companion to pick up what I can’t carry. dog meat is the only companion who can’t pick up stuff into his inventory so you should be fine if you don’t have him following you. I’m currently on a survival play through and this “glitch” helps a ton

that’s because Alyx is on Source 2, if you try that in a Source 1 game like Half-Life 2 everything in your crate will reach mach 3 for no reason
