Fantastic to see this on here. Gods work you are doing of late, Couchtripper! I was a bit too young to see it on its original airing but was lucky enough to catch it later on. I do hope the next generation find this on their algorithms.
@@LoneKharnivore Eh? There have been loads of brilliant shows that have only had one or two series. That means absolutely nothing! The vast majority of US comedies are utter shite yet get about 25 series each. Off the top of my head, here are some classic UK comedy shows that only had one or two series: The Day Today, Jam, Spaced, Fawlty Towers, 15 Storeys High, Bruiser, The Armando Ianucci Shows... I could go on.

Wow. Simon Pegg was incredibly lucky Spaced got commissioned, wasn't he? If this was his career highlight I doubt he'd be starring in Hollywood movies today.
I think it was Band of Brothers that helped him - Tom Hanks, David Schwimmer as connections. Didn't seem to hurt the careers of Scott Grimes, Damien Lewis, etc, either.
The cat and mouse fight is the most accurate street confrontation caught on film.

Easily one of the best sketch shows ever. So many classics!
Is that why it only lasted for two series, four years apart?

The Woman who broke dancing
RayGun 😂 absolutely amazing
Hahahah I thought exactly the same thing...
The cat and mouse fighting still cracks me up.
"Leave it, it's not worth it!" 😄😄

Haha…. Though their partner might have been in there and they were going in to get them
They do sell good pies
Chris Morris narrating the jockey/Prince skit of course
Plus Liz Truss at 19:30

I've never seen this before, but it's just full of talented folks who I love ❤️
Somehow managed to foretell Australian break dancing and Lia Thomas in one sketch
I LOVE the World Stare-out Championship!
Especially the 43rd - it really was an outstanding tournament.
The big train on a small map reminds me of Liz Truss 😂

The second sketch with the police officer is no longer comedy its reality.
