Bali is the digital nomad capital of the world. With tropical island vibes, warm weather and amazing food, it’s no surprise so many people wirh remote incomes come here to live a a better life and get more for their money.
So I wanted to see for myself just how much an average week costs here and compare it to my average week in Dubai. Right now I am living right here in Bali as a digital nomad for a month, and I wanted to show you exactly how much money I spend in a regular week here, living my normal life and working remotely as a UA-camr and entrepreneur.

Wow, they've made Indonesia so expensive. When I went early 2000s it was super cheap. Could get lunch for $1. $3,700 rent is super expensive for asia. Seems prices are increasing faster than NYC.

Pepino is more a western supermarket imported things are very expensive. You need to go to the local supermarkets. It costs me about $50.00 a week.

If somebody is earning around $3-5k/month than Bali is a beautiful paradise to live in, including many other Asian places like Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, etc.

sounded like it was a lunch that was thrown in with the rafting trip. so the trip organizer probably chose really cheap food since they're the ones directly covering the cost.

That safari was a disgrace! Uncomfortable viewing 😢. Clearly sedated animals, with no space to roam. A tourist trap. Please don't encourage and give your money to such places. With some research, l'm sure there are more ethical options. Other than that, a useful video.
