Wanna hear something weird? I"m a 41-year-old white dude from the midwestern United States and I love Wilco. I know, I don't fit the demographic. haha.
Lol
I'm a 66 year old Afro-Puerto Rican and I've seen them a bunch of times. I know I'm not their demographic. I feel it when I go to their shows.
@@VictorSanchez-yl9jf Don’t worry about demographics, be you and love what music you love! :)
@@kroppinator I'm 66 year old Afro-Puerto Rican and i've seen them a bunch of times.
Music has no demographics, brother. It’s all love all the time. Music is the universal language that speaks to us all 😉 (And what’s funny is I just went all hippie on you and that’s not my demographic FWIW lol 😂 But I still mean what I said 👊🏼😎🙏🏼) We’re all different individuals, but that’s the beauty of music. It brings all walks of life together irrespective of “demographics” 🙌🏼❤️🎼🎸🥁
i wish someone would look at me the way Jeff looks at Nels when he's soloing on Impossible Germany.
There is no limit to how amazing this band can be.
The greatest, Tweedy fan since the Uncle Tupelo days.
This show rocks my soul.
This live version of Random Name Generator was ELECTRIFYING. Glenn is somethin else man
I saw them the night before at Radio City Music Hall. I forgot just how good this tour was...wow! So glad I stumbled across this today in my UA-cam wormhole.
I often come back to @1:42:26 to relive that moment. Crowd roared like a sporting event. Thank you, Good night! LMAO
This show is just amazing
Impossible germany!!!!!!!!! Always love the humor jeff brings with the crowd. Saw the band live and also jeff solo. Love wilco so much. Jeff is awesome and they are probably one of my favorite if not #1 current band
Tell Harald Hi for me!
thankful for this band and their longevity, doing what they do, as time goes on
even seeing jeff solo is a treat for ones soul
First time seeing them add this concert. It was incredible
holy shit that "Love is Everywhere Beware" was played perfectly......well done fellas. Well done indeed. thanks for sharing this w/ the masses
Saw them in Denver shortly after this show....their range, precision, and HUMOR were truly incredible Thanks lads, and thanks to me chum Jeff for taking me.
One night, I was having a mini-panic attack and asked to sit at an unseated section at the back of the Chicago Theater. Glenn's brother and his wife then came and sat next to me. Such a nice guy. And woman. I asked why he went to U of Kentucky instead of Indiana University, where I went, which has a great music department. He just said, "Full ride at U of KY." I said, "understood". I have a CD of the first time Jeff played solo with Glenn at the Abbey Pub in Chicago. Love at first night.
Best live band around as far I’m concerned. These guys are so cohesive as a unit.
Cohesively singing out of tune. You need to see more live acts if you think this is as good as it gets.
You are CORRECT Mike. So well "meshed", like a Swiss watch.
All I hope for in 2021 is that I can be as excited about ANYTHING as that crowd was when Jeff caught the floating piece of confetti in his hand.
NELS CLINE, YOU MAJESTIC MAN!
Thanks Jeff. I enjoyed it❤️
I just saw them live this past weekend. They are finally getting a chance to finish their Ode to Joy tour, nearly two years after its release. Given the time lapse, they seemed not to focus heavily on that album, but played a mountain of hits drawn from the past 20+ years of making music. They opened with A Shot In The Arm, which was completely appropriate given the times. I was excited when they launched into tunes like Laminated Cat and California Starts, which for some reason I didn't expect.
TLDR: Wilco is amazing live.
Extra points for not calling Lam Cat Not For the Season 😀
Yay points!
I've seen Wilco many times since 1995 onwards (first gig was Paradise Rock Club in Boston in Oct '95). This is an okay performance, but a bit flat for them. But there have been a couple of times I've seen them where they've caught absolute fire. Magical gigs. If you're a Wilco fan, my wish for you is that you get to see one of those nights.
I accept your "WISH" and maybe I'll be blessed with a performance in the D/FW metro one of these days. Thank you SO much for the very kind wish!
Wilco, thx for your great sound!
Awesome show um
One of the great bands! 👆🏻
Absolute pure class.
Nels Cline - Splendid! Impossible Germany solo seems IMPOSSIBLE.
My favorite band.
Real music
I'm offended on how good Nels Cline is. How can a man hoard so much talent?
my only problem seeing this band is the setlists don't change enough
Just gorgeous
GOODNESS GRACIOUS
Why is the song "Laminated Cat" named "Laminated Cat"?
Jeff is a song poet so amazing reminds me of John Prine :)
Anyone know of a live YT Wilco that has She's a Jar?
seen them open for neil youm, r.e.m. always a great show. jeff is too funny he missed his calling
His books are wonderful
knit caps are hard to keep on during a rock n roll show
Less than 400 likes. Insane.
featuring Elvis Costello on keys
Life right before the pandemic
the Beatles of now..
Great set though I feel like Jeff's acoustic guitar is way too up front in the mix, at least in this recording, drowning out everyone else.
so fine
Part of why I love Wilco is that they're more obscure, so it adds to my own sense of being informed, cultures, and modestly elite
Holly shit you too?
