I love your humbleness. It feels like a friend is helping me out and not some person who went to college for 4 years to make semi uncomfortable youtube videos.
Thanks for watching. I just Try to keep it real. I’m a real person just like everyone else. I don’t try to pretend to be something I’m not. Thanks for the Kind words.
I am from Tuscaloosa, and you are the first person who talks slow enough for me to understand. Thanks!! And God bless! Trying to build a doghouse and insulate it, first time....watched a million videos. Great job!!!!
Maybe there's a reason for it, but just figure that since it gets cold in winters where you are at then they would keep warmer by being together in one bigger kennel. My ma's dogs always cuddled together in an oversized doghouse in winter. Sometimes they would forget their little friend and you would see one come out and go pick up their cat and take him to bed with them because they liked his warmth too, lol. And I'm in AZ, so if dogs over here cuddle during winter, I could imagine in states that have "real" winters. Unless you have dogs that want to kill each other, then obviously that would not be a good idea. Anyhow, I obviously can't stop feeling that they need more room outside of the enclosed area, especially considering their breeds. But you did a good job. Only thing is the insulation is actually very much needed towards the base where you ran out because they lie down on the ground. You can tack cut strips of blanket near the bottom of the walls so they are warmer and a nice fleece blanket that is oversized for them so they can get themselves comfy in it. That's what I used to have setup in a dog house for a stray that used to kind of live here but outside, then ended up getting an electric heating blanket for him....now he's our dog and has the perks of being inside during unsuitable weather just like my other dog, lol. But good job. I know it is definitely a task and I know first hand how costly it can be when trying to accommodate your pets needs. And thanks for the dog flap tip. I'm going to borrow that idea if you don't mind. An idea for this is what I was searching through some videos for. Thanks!
Hi, I just came across your channel today and I wanted to let you know of a little trick I learned from working with dogs for many years. You can rub deoderant on the edges of stuff that the dogs chew on. It makes their tongue feel yucky and they will stop chewing on whatever it is on. Hope this helps you. Have a great day.
great idea for my chicken coop! Thanks to the comments I'm going to purchase clear car mats (birds won't go out unless they can see) cut into strips during the winter! I leave it open all year long (they are very cold hardy birds, I've covered the door just a few times in 20 years during a blizzard in the northeast...but I hate the snow blowing in ( It's just a Open window frame with no window in it...) I do so wish I was more mechanically inclined Or had a strapping lad To help out! Great video thank you
You can get a floor mat that goes at people's front door to wait be feet on at lowes or home depot cut in half and it should cover 2 doors you just screw them in Good luck and happy New Year
You some kind of silicone adhesive that is waterproof and glue the insulation to the inside of the wall Seems easiest way especially if you're concerned about nails or screws and it should work fine
Start at a early age with a bark collar. No barking in the kennel is aloud. Dogtra ys600 is what I use and the dogtra iq vibe only bark collar. After they learn not to bark in the kennel then they are free to do as they wish.
I have a question, for your dogtra pathfinder tracking collars when you put your phone in your pocket for example and the phone is in rest mode not powered off when you go back to the app after the phones been locked if you have a password, is the Bluetooth still connected or do you have to reconnect it to your receiver
No you do not have to repair it. It will stay paired at all times. Do you have a pathfinder. If not use the Code DGTFSBN at dogtra.com to save your self 20$
