- Dr. R.C. Sproul (1939-2017) preached his final sermon on November 26, 2017, at Saint Andrew’s Chapel in Sanford, Florida. The title of the sermon was “A Great Salvation” from Hebrews 2:1-4. He concluded that sermon with these words: “I pray with all my heart that God will awaken each one of us today to the sweetness, the loveliness, the glory of the gospel declared by Christ.”
I first heard if you while I was in prison and your teaching have changed my life and what I think about the bible and its teachings.I feel free and full of truth with your help in understanding scripture..love you

I've been a Christian for 60 yrs. and you'd think I'd have a pretty tight handle on how to live this Christian life by now, but having listened to this preaching by R.C. I'm convicted about taking the precious gift of salvation for granted and losing the respect and "awe" of God. God IS NOT our "buddy", as some would have us believe. He's GOD ALMIGHTY, master of all, and thank God, my Lord and my King. I just love R.C. and I thank God for him. So thankful I can continue to hear his powerful, spirit filled, convicting yet comforting and timely preaching's.
His final sermon happened to be my first. Thank God for bringinh R C Sproul to His church!
His theology, wisdom and knowledge of the scripture is amazing.
25 years ago i was saved. I learned of RC Sproul whom i admired because of the wisdom that came out of this teacher. He was different than other preachers. His intelligence was more than to other preachers i would hear. Now, at 53, i am looking at his teachings more closely. I am so grateful we can enjoy this teaching in this format. It may not last.

A man of God chosen to preach many people through the blessing of modern day media. He has written a history along with other saints from century. I wish I could preach all his sermons in Urdu and Punjabi language. May God bless his ministry.

Speaks with crystalline clarity, scholarly, knowledgable about philosophy, Ancient history, as well as being a first rate Bible expositor, have learned much from this incisive evocative Man of god: a Teacher.
When I became a Christian in 1998, I started listening to R.C.'s radio broadcast on a local station. I had also been listening to other radio ministries which I could, as a newbee Christian, follow and somewhat understand. However, when I listened to R.C., I was perplexed. I knew I was hearing something special, deep with meaning, and inspired by the holy spirit, unfortunately I found myself lost and unable to follow R.C.'s deep expositions. Yet, rather than feeling frustrated or giving up, I was more than ever motivated to persevere until I could feel I could understand R.C. and his teachings. I have since been more blessed by R.C. in my understanding on God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Undeserving Blessing of my Salvation. My mind cannot still grasp how God would even fancy a passing glance at a lowly creature such as I. But He did, and by His Grace have been saved. Thank you Lord for using R.C. as the vehicle to achieve your Will.
As the apostle admonished in 1 Cor.3:6, "I planted, A-pol-los watered, but God kept making it grow. Dr Sproul's teaching is extremely great. I doubt I could find a more succinct and true theologist. I agree with your concept that it is difficult for the human brain to decipher new concepts never before considered. However, for every true heart that petitions the Pure, Holy Eternal, Creator, Holy Spirit from the Most High will not abandon that person.
It is the Spirit of our Lord that keeps making the seed of truth known and understood. It is Holy Spirit that is making your faith grow. That is why knowing the Most High God is fear inspiring. I don't feel I understand what I have written fully because although I plead for guidance and seek to please my Lord I don't feel I appreciate His Omniscience as much as I ought to. I speak to my Lord God as if he were just my friend. I wish I did feel more reverence.

A well educated man. He did not apologize for using a high use of the language. It at once causes the unlearned to research and understand deeper meanings. It turns others away for seeking the simplicity of the gospel. But this last message is clean and powerful. He preaches a proper balance of hell and death, heaven and salvation. An incredible message for all of us in the Church, the Body of Christ. Jesus Christ, I believe, received R C into glory.

A well educated man with a Pittsburgh accent!! He was/is one of a kind. God bless him!
He was a student of John Gershner, and of Francis Scheaffer...that being said it's no surprise he was able to present his understanding through a higher level of thought than what was most common in our day. This was also due to his vast knowledge of church history and his understanding of the holiness of El Elohiym. It was this in depth understanding that challenged his intellect as he presented this understanding through certain complexities in the exposition of scripture.
I met this godly man several times at conferences. He was instrumental in showing me more clearly the God I love. How blessed are the feet of them who bring good news
I also had the pleasure of meeting him, and listening to him preached, a delight. I was able to give him a hug and thank him for all he had accomplished and helping me have a more deep love for the word.
Great blessing listening this encouring message about our great God.
I am so happy for open possibility to translate and print some Sproul books in Serbian language.

R.C. was certainly one of the greatest if not the greatest preacher who has ever lived. I lean toward the greatest preacher. R.C. knew his redeemer lives.
How precious to me over years has been the teaching of Dr Sproul; in doctrine through apologetics, theology and doctrinal themes, as well as through such sound expository teaching of plain scripture. Thank you Lord for my introduction to his life, works and influence.
5th anniversary of RC's Homegoing. What an amazing saint. He taught the full truth of holy Scripture about the Holy Lord we may be privileged to serve.
Sinner, your sin has already condemned you. Your only hope is for Christ Jesus to commute your sentence. He can do this because He received the punishment & penalty of everyone who will ever come to Him for His gracious salvation. Repent & Believe sinner!
I got to know about R.C in this very year (2019), and I started missing him when I realized that he had already died, no doubt, in Christ Jesus, Amen!!!

Such a man of God!
Not one of us is good! Only by His calling us to Himself and recieving His Holy Spitit can we know Him. He loves the elect. Clothed us in white robes of righteousness covering our sin, and sealing us eternally. Making uss citizens of heaven. His chosen race.
I will never know all of the Word, but Bible studies in a gospel teaching church is the first step with loving fellowship.
To follow His Word knowing that the Ctoss, death ressurrection, and assenention is our hope. His Word is a 2 edged sword.
We have Him forever, when we repent and follow His Word.
No matter our sin He has given us salvation and repentance. We have His promise that He will.never leave us. RC has taught me very much. My favorite eloquent teacher! I can't wait to meet him, as well, in heaven!

I never got to meet Dr. Sproul in person, but through his obedience to the call Christ placed on his life, my life has been changed forever. After I finally meet my Lord and King, I can’t wait to meet him.

Final sermon of thousands of consistent, true gospel sermons!
After receiving Jesus and accepting Him as my personal Saviour, the messages of R.C. Sproul and Renewing Your Mind was vital in my reading and understanding of Scripture. His teachings were the foundation a new believer in Jesus Christ in reforming my mind. He will be missed here, but he is with Jesus, Amen.
Thinking of R C today. Thank you for rescuing me from the prosperity gospel. Thank you for The Holiness Of God and Chosen By God. Thank you, Ligonier, that he is still bringing people to Christ with the 'true truth' today, and long may his voice continue to be heard. God has crowned you R C Sproul.

Listening this sermon for the first time and I’m crying with every single word he is preaching .
( Came across to this ministry a few months back )
Although I don't agree with Dr. Sproul's beliefs on some points of Doctrine, Calvinism in particular ... yet I honor this Statesman of The Gospel! I have learned a tremendous amount from listening and reading after him. The earth has lost a great warrior for Christ! Rest well Dr. Sproul. I'll see you at the house.
Christy Brownfield I agree, I would hate to live as if I'm the vicar of truth, then die only to have Jesus say away from me I never new you. Because I can't get the truth, because I only see what I want to see.
History will reflect that R.C. carried the most profound and fundamentally important issue of eschatology during a time of great threat of loss to eschatology's essential and exclusive message of Sola Fida.
R.C. Sproul forever changed my life when on a rainy night during an annoying long ride home after a visitation with my beloved son I heard one of his sermons on election and predestination. It was the one that finally angered itself into my soul and I pulled my truck over and just cried and cried.
Daniel Evans same here. Came out of a nondenominational mega church into a reformed church. Fought for about 8 months with election and wept when it finally sunk in
As someone who very much enjoyed RC Sproul's teaching/preaching I came to embrace the Reformed view of soteriology.. but then later I rejected Calvinism while still respecting the Reformed view on things, and though I maintain a good distance from Calvinism, I value any teacher that can point us toward the truth of God's word. RC will be missed even by fellow Christians who didn't agree on every point of teaching.
I am so very grateful for the work the Lord has done through Dr. R.C. Sproul. And I praise God for allowing us to live in an age where we can cherish and preserve such edifying messages such as this one, from great men of God such as R.C. and pass them on to future generations. I will miss his stellar exegesis and preaching, which always sounded as a clarion. I'll miss his sharp wit, great sense of humor and that lopsided smile he often flashed. ♥

Powerful message, it challenged me to examine myself if I am really in the faith, and that is always a good thing. I know that everyday Christ is more relevant and more magnificent to me than anything else...and may that continue till faith becomes sight. Thank you Father for your servant R.C. Sproul, who though no longer with us in the flesh, continues to point us towards Jesus .

Powerful, I have listened to this sermon more than any other. "Therefore"--Signifies a conclusion ..... It is Christ or none!
I'm forevermore grateful to R C for truthfully, faithfully, and clearly teaching the Word and through that I have gain much knowledge of the scriptures. Especially understanding who God is in relation to who man is! I will endeavor to be a wise steward of the knowledge of God I have learned through his teaching.

I've been listening to a lot of John Macarthur and John Barnett, and I've watched a lot of questions and answers with RC and John (cracking up as great friends), I've just recently started to watch a lot of R.C Sproul's sermons. I wish he was around to talk to the likes of Jordan Peterson, rather than all of the Catholics and others. it would be so nice for Peterson to talk to Macarthur before he's gone too. Anyhow how nice to sit under R.C, John and John.
This man was awesome!!! I wish we can find more teachers like this man!!!!!!
