Wow rugg. When I watched forest gump for the first time I thought wow could you imagine a person seeing as much in a lifetime as he did ? Well I think the all the things you’ve seen and done is as close as forest ? And the biggest comparison and most important is you are so down to earth and not have a swollen head.your awesome dude.
Going to a big beautiful wedding like that and leaving 10 dollars omg lol putting it in the book for future reference on who the cheapskates are very funny had me laughing 😂
Respectfully, "Charlie Wagons" , I love those mob names. I'm so glad you're a Cancer survivor. My friends mother had breast cancer and supposedly beat it , then it reoccurred as Brain Cancer, her mother lasted 4 more years then she died. My friend believes it's because bad things she had done in her past. It breaks my heart . ☮ & 💚
Back in 2004ish my great grandpa died from prostate cancer he refused to get it removed said it made him less of a man he was 85 or something like that i was younger so i don't remember exactly but im glad you made it god bless
9:25 like TMI in 78, over here in Pennsylvania. Everyone’s parents came and picked us up after the principal told us. We went to my uncles cabin up in the mountains.
I remember La Mer on Ocean Pkwy and so many other catering halls of the day all over the Brooklyn and Long Island . Bagels and the Sunday paper at the end of a catered affair and the real Little Italy. Great memories.
Anthony, my hat is off to you brother. I would have never guessed that you would have been in 4th grade in 63. I Was born in 1977, and if I didn’t know who you were, I would’ve guessed that you were a few years older than myself at 47….thank you Anthony!
Hey Mr Ruggiano. If possible, could you do tours of inside Sparks Steakhouse, The suite (Henry Hill's club), Roberts Lounge, The Ravenite and the Bergen hunt and fish club?
So vivid in my mind when Kenny was killed. Was in 1st grade we were in class door opened cleaning lady came in crying told my teacher about what happened. She started crying. They lined us up and released us. Watched funeral on my grandmothers little black and white tv, she lived downstairs from us.. My father could not afford a TV back then. He was a butcher with 3 children and my mom. Remember back then Italian mother did not work they raised their family. It was not looked upon well in the Italian culture back then if a mother had to work. The men felt they were looked down at and a disgrace.
I was in the first grade when Kennedy got shot. They sent us home also. Stuff is crazy right now in the country But the 60s were pretty crazy too. Gives me hope we'll get through this.
When 9/11 happened i was in 1st grade maybe 2nd im keavy elementary in ky and a plane was over our schoop and wouldnt identify so we they closed school down it was right after the 2nd tower was hit
condolence for yer brother albert sorry to here what happened hang in there i know its very hard lost dad here in 2003 suicide is very hard!!!!!! stay strong there!!!!! and always keep clean
Mr. Ernie Rossi on 193 grand St. has had his store at that location since 1910. I can't image the stories and events. I know the apartment building next to Rossi's joint, I met a couple of old timers. Sadly chinatown is taking over the joint. Time is progression I guess. Ciao
That's hilarious..Fat Andy was old school. My pops (So Oz Pk) when John Lennon got shot : "Good riddance!!" HA ha pretty cold right? Great sitdown sir! Thank you!
Great to hear your perspective on the life you lived and the life you’re living. Lots of history you share.
O.J. Simpson was one of the best backs in the history of the NFL but Walter Payton was a hundred times better. He never killed his wife either.😮
10:25 since that was the Outfit, it was foreshadowing Anthony!
