One argument to why dig up the past:
If you don't learn from your past, you're bound to make the same mistakes you did. So dig up everything, learn, never make the same mistakes again.

Excellent speakers with amazing detailed info on the history as is now being discovered VS what has been challenged.
I wish the host allowed for uninterrupted preset time for all the speakers.
The constant interruption from the host, disturbs the flow of the speakers & the audience.
A host that only speaks in questions, limits the context prefacing to a couple of minutes, introduces the speakers FIRST before providing context of the hour - are some of the few things that can be improved upon in the next session.
The last person who disagreed or challenged the new narrative should've been taken up first in the Q&A, and should've given time for speakers to clarify. I wanted to hear how the speakers responded to it.

We are a nation state !! Israeli is example , they were made to leave their country but for more than 2000yrs they didn’t allow their nationhood to die .
It’s important to preserve our cultural & civilisational identity of our unique nationhood.
Babylonian, Greek, Roman , Egyptian having Cyrus the great, of Alexander the Great , Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Augustus, Great feros all finished as they lost their culture & civilisational identities( nationhood).

@t s Muthuraman 100% because Sanskrit was never common’s language ( but rather discouraged)& almost never anyone’s mother tongues.
In north India ,every 50km not only language but food & behavior changes. For example
In present day Bihar we have Maithili ( in north), in east Angika ( Bhagalpur), Magahi( Magadhi, in Gaya,Rajgir, patna )& bhojpuri ( in south & west) … how much different?? More than Tamil & Malayalam ( we have entirely distinct festivals, food , leaving style, literature, music , dances , our rituals like matrimony everything ) .. 99.99% Maithil ( mata Sita is Maithil) can’t speak bhojpuri or Magadhi or bhojpuri. Or Angika .
Every region has their own rich history, writers, books etc
Same is in utter pradesh , bhojpur( adjacent to Bihar .. Varanasi,Allahabad,Gorakhpur)
Awadhi ( central UP like lucknow and area around)
Bundelakhandi ( south /west like Merath, etc)
Braj ( Mathura , Agra etc) same partition is there in madhya pradesh.
Now all of them are highly different with full culture & civilisation . State language subject is not there in these states ( like Tamil state, Telugu , Malayalam & Cannada) .
A Maithil for example speaks ( 99%) Maithili at home , celebrate festivals etc .. so Bihar,UP don’t have state unity on the basis of culture/language like in language states like bangal, Punjab , south ,Gujarat or even Maharashtra ( there was some division and they indeed divided) … so who is their for Sanskrit??
I am Maithil , and I can tell you if it was a separate state ,ppl of my area would be as proud of my language/culture/literature/history/food as Tamils are ( half of Maithila is in present day Nepal) ,… if you know there are many UPSC successful from Bihar ,it’s from Mithila ,just for introduction.
Here I want to say Sanskrit is for entire nation ( like English today)and every region has their own language .
Otherwise how Shankaracharya could talk with entire country?? English? Malayalam Or Tamil??
Like he had very long and famous shastrarth ( discussion) with Mandan Mishra & his wife of Mithila in which language?
Janakpur used to host scholars from all over for discussion including Rawan in which language??

@t s Muthuraman nothing disappeared , but lost state patronage!! do you think Gujrati, Marathi got lost ?? go and visit that area .
I was in Saudi Arabia for 5 yrs but I never needed to learn Arabic but if someone lives in Tamilnadu for 5 yrs having job of public communication ( physician) they can’t survive without Tamil .
In my region 90/95% ppl speak Maithili despite being fluent in Hindi . In Maharashtra ( besides big cities ) majority speak Marathi but not essential.
What Tamil kept growing ?? They just put iron curtain on other languages ,they have only one language to communicate so naturally it will become famous in the region .
What iconic work done in Tamil in last 75 yrs ??
Tamil language worldwide spread has also something to do with Sri Lankan Tamil refugees in outside world. I have observed in various countries . ( remember Indian Sri Lankan Tamils & native Sri Lankan Tamils are different and conditions of Indian Tamils in Lanka largely in central provinces of shigeria, Nurelia, candy working in tea states are very bad and they have no voice not even of Sri Lankan or Indian Tamils… I have seen that ).

    • @vivekpmc1992
      @vivekpmc1992 2 роки тому

@t s Muthuraman language of Buddha is Pali ( close to Angika ), nothing finished there are more ppl still speaking all these language than Tamil.
There are more Sanskrit use in south India than in North India.
Sanskrit is as it was , in connecting India it lost to English. in south & Hindi in north.

    • @vivekpmc1992
      @vivekpmc1992 2 роки тому

@t s Muthuraman Mughal used Farsi . See in that time use of written language was limited to court/ religious text and for scholars. Common citizens never needed to write Or even read . So Farsi was used in state affairs called “kacheheri “
and in little education for writing biographies & history .
Sanskrit was used in religious affairs ( that was really big because everything was linked to religion, as we can see Hindu connects rituals, trees, animals, agriculture, animals , water bodies like creating/renovating ponds is considered very auspicious you can see ponds at almost everywhere in India ,preserving cow is precious as entire economy from agriculture to processing agri product to good nutrition to transport everything is completely dependent on cattle) .
But common ppl spoke only there native languages at home and own region, but what about places where ppl from all over had to gather specially in armies ? That needed to communicate in some common language, right ? here came Hindi & Urdu ( both are same phonetically) and they were not related to any religion as we see today ( there was no major religious rite in Bharat before 1857 , this was created by British after finding threat of national unity of 1857 revolt who took over from east India company)and divided using state scholars by giving Farsi script to Urdu & devnagri to hindi ( but still hindi & Urdu are same by words largely).
So we can still find , when we are at our locality/village/family we speak our mother tongue & when with outsider /in group we speak Hindi. Literature/writing in regional language gradually vanished because now you want to reach larger population and your regional language can’t help. ( as we have seen success of regional cinemas when dubbed to hindi for larger audiences). When you will aspire to go international you can’t have cinema in just Tamil Or Marathi but you must dub in English too , how much rich your language may be !!!!
So it’s always need than force that work for long time . English became international due to large British empire and need to have communication among .

@t s Muthuraman everyone is doing because it’s not just your language but your identity your unique existence in the world . We lost because we had existential problems ( when you are hungry, you don’t go in tour), but as our economy will improve we will strive for our identity ( but it’s not lost , fortunately through our dozens of cultural events, sanskars like marriage, last rights etc and festivals where we still repeat our traditional identities). Our old literatures are still preserved by those we ignored in the form traditional plays and songs and old temples pandits , they even maintain our family trees of many generations).

Skin color Gene is an Autosomal Gene and Can be passed from Both parents to offspring.
A111T is the gene that is responsible for the light Color skin, hairs among Europeans, Middle easterns and Indians.
The origin of this gene is estimated in a Region b/w North india and Middle east but No europe.
It reached into europe with Neolithic Migrations of Farmers around 5000B.C before that European Hunters were Dark skinned with Red Hairs and Blue eyes.
Due to a less sun_light Climatic conditions in Eurassian region this Gene underwent into a positive selection among the eurassian populations and they become a white race with Variety of Pale Skin and Blonde hairs and all this happen in b/w a time frame of 4000-3000B.C.
The Neolithic immigrants from Iran and Caucasus who brought this gene into europe and central Asia had a wheat colored skin with Dark brown and black hairs and Light brown eyes like modern north indians, iranians and Middle easterns.

Our nation Bharat only exists,if we believe in Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh,where,Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh,Saptarishi,Amavasu dynasty,Ramayana,Mahabharata would be only a story,if we are unable to link each one of them together. So, out of 07 saptarishis/Brahmarishis,six being sons of god Brahma were Brahmarishi by birth and Vishwamitra/Kaushik is the only human being, who was originally a shatriya king of Amavasu dynasty and was given recognition of Brahmarishi by god Brahma himself. So saptarishi gets linked authenticity with Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh. Then,Vishwamitra/Kaushik also appeared in Ramayana. Also,Bharat king, the descendants of pandavs/kauravas was son of dushyant king and mother Shakuntla, where Shakuntla was daughter of Kaushik/Vishwamitra,so Mahabharata truthfulness is also justified. So,Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh,Saptarishi,Amavasu dynasty,Ramayana & Mahabharata are as true as we are alive today in our country named Bharat,as Vishwamitra/Kaushik binds them together with full authenticity in any point of our nation Bharat. Aryans, dravidians are just propaganda of few people who have their personal interests above National heritage interests. Great job done by u all. Keep it up.

other than this diversity of R1a is much much higher in india than any population in the world.

      Anatolian Farmers from Caucasus

@t s Muthuraman Look its not just about the gene. The Aryan Migration people believe in two things first Aryans brought Sanskrit and Vedas to India and second they destroyed the native Indian population and started caste system. Second is conclusively proven false as no native civilization was destroyed and we already find traces of Sarasvati exactly at Harappan sites and Dwarka exactly where Mahabharat describes. Coming to first point that Sanskrit came from outside, now we are proving movement of Indians towards west which means they might have carried their language and culture there and we dont see great Sanskrit text existant in west whatever little they have of Pagan beliefs must have went there through India otherwise why they dont have full Vedas and Sanskrit preserved as it is? Even if the discoverd gene on that *one* body was not R doesnot means the culture of people was not Saraswati river based (Vedic culture) That means Tamilian/ Dravidian culture was inheritantly Vedic with or without R1 gene! We have already found horse, chariot Swastika and shivaling and yogic statues in Indus sites which tells you culture of Indus was Vedic or similar to Vedic anyhow. Which means it was always a mixed culture somehow similar to Karnataka of today Vedic as well as Dravida. Also the R1a1 and its ancient ancestors are found in India and the diversity is very high meaning the Vedic and the so called dark skinned were living together (like present Karnataka) for thousands of years before the timeline of Aryan Migration (1000 BC) And the Vedas talk of India of Saraswati, Ganga Sindhu not of Turkey or Russia.

@t s Muthuraman Aah you have no understanding of anything. Noct can be written and pronounced easily by anyone from Sanskrit background it is just N plus Matra of O. But latin tounge cannot pronunce N properly and modified it to No. Sanskrit starts with proper 'अ' which gets modified in Europe means European languages are modification of Sanskrit. And Sanskrit is primordial language of AUM. Sanskrit has no word for language the word Bhasha means speaking. Like Bharat is Sanskrit word but Tamil Tounge/ Bhasha makes it Tha as in Bhartha means the word travelled in its pure from to people of land of Tamil bhasha. Same is for Noct. Nakt travelled to Latin tongue and became Noct. Bhasha simply means way of speaking coming from Bhashan means speech. The pure word Nakt goes from Sanskrit to Europe not vice versa.
      Aum.

Vedic people were forest dwellers, and they were not familiar with other types of lands (Kurinchi, mullai, marutham(farming skills), neythal(navigational skills) and palai).

3.Pearls and other gains of the trade are found in RV 1-48-3, 1-56-2; 4-55-6
4.Bhujyu was rescued by the Asvins from mid sea after a shipwreck RV 1-116-5. A ship with hundred oars (sataritra) is mentioned.
5.In the Rig Veda (1-56-2; 4-55-6), there are clear references to trading in distant lands for profit (RV 1-48-3)
      6. RV 7.88.5 refers to thousand gates.
RV 2.41.5 & 5.62.6 refers to thousand pillared complex.

If there is a possibility of both inward and outward migration, in my opinion, the speculation of an inward migration is more rational. I can be wrong, but it seems very unlikely to me that people would leave this large swath of fertile lands in india and migrate towards middle asian desert lands in a large number. The population was not that large anyway...so pressure from inside to leave is not the case.
It becomes more evident if you look carefully at the ancient and medieval india where indians only go out in a small number for trade and preaching religion. But indian kings or population were not that much interested to campaign outside of india for permanent control. Because that was niether necessary nor logistically reasonable.
Also in my country Bangladesh the leftist politics has nothing to do with AIT and we are not hindu majority also. So AIT is not taught that agressively. I have grown up learning that aryans were nomads who came for greener lands and got assimilated with the more advanced agriculture based indus valley civilization. I used to know that aryan invaders were just better warriors because of their nomadic lifestyle and that helped them to dominate politically. Its like how akkadian nomads took over the sumerian civilization.
Overall the arguements put forward in this debate didn’t convince me.

It is not correct to say there was no incentive to move out. After all Hinduism spread to South East Asia - Indonesia, Cambodia, Bali from India mainly in the Chola empire's times. Other reasons could have been trade, climatic conditions like drought or floods. Another possibility could be invasions (local or otherwise) - for example the spread of Roma people to Europe.

I would recommend the saraswati civilisation book by G.D. Bakshi for clearing your doubts. But let me try to answer them a bit.
The Indus valley civilisation is actually the Sarasvati valley civilisation. 60% of the sites found were around the river sarasvati and not indus. Moreover in scriptures, (rig veda majorly) Sarasvati is mentioned as the mother of all rivers because of its sheer volume. It's route has been plotted using satellite mapping(you can google its path). It originated from the Himalayas and along the north-west India flowed into the sea. In 1900bce, it completely dried out. That is the time of decline of harrapan civilisation. From then people started moving away from that area. Some went further to north west, some inwards india.
So yeah, it was fertile land but with few reasons(like change of course of yamuna from west to east due to shift in tectonic plates), it was not a liveable place. Therefore people moved out.

    • @hmmmm4193
      @hmmmm4193 2 роки тому +3

Also, many tribes fought among themselves during the vedic period. The devas won the battle with asuras and lived here whereas the asuras were thrown out of this area. So when you read zend avesta(the holy book of zoroastrians) you will find a lot of similarities with the rig veda. Both used to worship with the help of fire, it was sacred to both. Soma plant is mentioned in both books. But the roles of devas and asuras are reversed. In rigveda devas are good people but in zend avesta, devas are bad people. Battle of 21 kings and after that 10 kings is mentioned in rig veda. The people of iran, greece( natively called hellenic people)(also mentioned in rig veda as helena clan) originated here itself. But due to wars and fights the other Vedic tribes moved out.

Then the fact that we all ultimately have African ancestors is the same, we differentiate between ourselves based on so many things, caste, language, race etc but don't realize we are all on different branches of the same tree. It raises the question of why we differentiate like we do and should we and much much more.
