I love Monica and Chandler and never get tired of the lead up to London and then watching them sneaking around. Those episodes were the best! But I do miss this side of her in the later seasons. I hate to say it but there are times where she becomes dominant and lectures Chandler more than be his companion and wife. Still love them but wish she was written better towards him in the latter seasons.

Monica sometimes can be high maintenance.
I like the earlier dynamic with Chandler and Monica. As their relationship progressed he seemed to get weaker then recovered towards the end of the show a bit.
I do not think Chandler was in the wrong for how he acted. Many individuals put on personas infront of their coworkers, employers, etc. Monica sees it as negative/degrading to try and pretend to be someone else which she has a point, but there are times where you need to humble yourself, let bygones be bygones. Chandler needs to play along with his boss so that he is able to confide in him more or potentially view him as a candidate for future opportunities in their job. Monica doesn’t understand the team player view point of Chandlers plan. I do not agree on how she immediately shunned him for his work persona since it leads to relationships being built with boss and employee.

Doing good work is the best way to secure a good income, not sucking up.
But you see, Monica may have strong opinions on things, but she DOES listen and is able to compromise. She wanted a fancy wedding but she eventually agreed with Chandler to save for the future and to tone down the wedding. In this episode, Monica at the end DID put on her fake laugh for the sake of her boyfriend. You only remember what she wants, but you forget the part where she eventually agrees with her partner.
Also, you say that she wants Chandler to have a nice cushy job with a good income. That may be true, but when he quit his cushy job because he wasn't happy, Monica was extremely supportive.
