Butler has really changed in the past 30 yers ...was born and raised on Chicora rd between Lick Hill and the Barrel Bar....thank you for the reminders well done
I grew up around there too and remember the Hot Dog Shop, My great, great, Grandfather lived in a House on third street and died in 1933 at 87 (Newspaper Clipping) The last time I lived there, I was downhill from the Hospital and uphill from the Library. Do You remember Martins and Veros Bar? The Monroe Hotel? Natalie's Restaurant ? Union National was My Bank, I still have a pocket Calendar from it put away.
I remember Gaylord's, too. What I remember most was the sewage treatment plant next door. You know it's bad when the Armco Steel plant across the street calls to complain. :) I lived over in Woodbury Estates and went to Lyndora Elementary.
Love the video keep up the good work!
This was a nicely done video. I was also born and raised in Butler, 1980 to 1999.
