The problem with Warlord games is that you can’t buy things from their UK store if you are outside the UK and their US store is expensive. I used to buy stuff from them but don’t any more.
@@johntailby74 yes I am at an advantage in UK especially for direct only items. I don't know how it works, but can you ask a local independent to order and utilise any discount structure they have?
@@midlandergaming7319 local retailers have to order from the US store so pay the inflated prices. UK retailers only stock a limited selection of Warlord products
Their last sale was on pure sprues, I got enough Bolt Action and Project Z to make Kill Teams of 15 to 20 models of Guard, Kasrkin, Arbites, and cultists. Plus a few Greeks with upgrades to make very small "Custodian Guards." Lovely models, great detail. Especially as they're "skinny" real scale 28mm vs the chonky GW "humans".
@@darthkek1953 I like the sprue sales as you can try models sprues for games systems you don't have yet but fancy checking out. The project Z models are really nice. I was kind of hoping the new bolt action. Would move away from chunky cartoon style figures to be more realistic like the projectz models tbh. But looks like they are sticking to same design philosophy
@@hangarrat hahahha yes bit of a fail. I hadn't considered there would be an invoice fully visible as soon as I opened the box. I really wanted to share the excitement of opening live though so I guess that's the risk
