There is such an exhilaration in your face and from your voice when talking about this experience. It really got to me listening to you processing losing someone in the ER. I had that experience with my father. What you described brought back memories to that day ..... I liked seeing how tight knit and supportive & encouraging everyone was there at the end. I thought you weren't allowed to wear scrubs outside a sterile area?. My Friend has to change into his own gear after he has finished at the hospital and throw his scrubs in the bin to be laundered and pick up a fresh set at the beginning of his next shift.
Those are probably not OR scrubs :) students and nurses etc. wear them all around a hospital, but if she were to enter a sterile area, she would have to get different new ones no worries!
